Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Brighton and Hove

I had a wonderful weekend, staying at Abi's super-comfortable, beautifully furnished and very well equipped house. It really did feel like home from home. Parking nearby was really easy (thank you for the permit!), and it's a short walk into town - time of public transport on the doorstep, if required. I highly recommend the Flour Pot Bakery, just down the road, fot fantastic pastries and bread. Communication with Abi was great throughout, she could not have been more welcoming and helpful. This was one of my best ever stays, and I wholeheartedly recommend Abi's house as a base fur exploring Brighton and East Sussex. Thank you, Abi!

It was a lovely and very clean house on a quiet street. It's not far from the center and the sea, on the top of a hill. Hilary was extremely helpful, above and beyond. She acted on a short notice and sent us detailed instructions and recommendations on parking options. I definitely recommend this place.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Hanna's apartment for a period of a month. The moment we arrived, the house felt warm and welcoming, setting a positive tone for our visit. It was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect home base for the three of us. The house was very convenient, with everything functioning perfectly. At the back, there’s a beautifully sloped garden that feels like being surrounded by nature, along with a charming summer house ideal for days with nice weather. Even though our stay coincided with cold and stormy weather, we still appreciated the garden's atmosphere. The designated parking area was also very helpful, especially when we rented a car during part of our stay. In summary, we lacked nothing, and our stay was very pleasant. It truly felt like a home away from home. When we return to the area, we will definitely try to stay here again.

What a great find! We were a family group of 9 including 2 young children, the house was definitely big enough to accommodate us all with spacious rooms, a stunning kitchen area, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean bathrooms/en suite. The kids enjoyed all the games on offer, especially the ping pong table. Tony was a real hit too. Susie is a great host, offering great local advice/recommendations and was so kind to allow us an early check-in. We had 3 cars with our party but only permits for 2 cars however Susie's lovely neighbour happened to be around when we were deciding what to do with the 3rd car and offered us some of her additional permits for a small amount of money, this allowed us to all be parked outside the property with no concern about moving the cars, it really was a bonus. I would recommend this lovely house to any large group, close to beach and shops and Brighton town centre.

Enjoyed our stay, everything was nice and clean. One thing to note is there was some missing essentials you would except from an airbnb, like there were no bin-liners in the bins in the kitchen, no water in the fridge, etc. Aside from that it was a great experience, would recommend

We had a wonderful stay, and the house and area were perfect for our family holiday. Laura was really flexible and always replied to my questions and queries within minutes, and suggested lots of ideas to fit my family's needs. Spencer was there to meet us and show us around, which was really helpful, and we immediately felt at home as the home is so welcoming and relaxed feeling. As we had no car, the location was perfect - the train station is at the end of the road, and the bus in and out of Brighton is less than 5 minutes walk away and very regular. We loved everything about the house, and Laura and Spencer were great hosts. Thanks so much, we've had a really great time.

Finding a place to stay for 4 adults and 4 teenagers is a challenge, with Jon exceeded all expectations. Stylish and thoughtful furnishings, great communication and nice neighbors. Perfect! We will be happy to come back!

We had a really relaxing and comfortable stay at Annemarie’s place. The rooms were all perfectly clean and very homely. She made us feel so welcome with the thoughtful supplies provided. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to unwind in peace and quiet.

Great location, walkable distance to the station, to town, to amenities etc. We had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean. The place is exactly like on the pictures. The shower room is on the small size but the shower jet is strong enough to make up for it. We were only there for 3 days, we didn't cook and didn't need parking so I can't comment on that. I would happily book the same house again.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at The Old Cooks House. It was cosy, clean and comfortable. The beds were great and we both slept well on all nights. Jackie had left a plethora of goodies for us for breakfast and snacking and she was really helpful in guiding us to places to eat out. It was a lovely break.

We had a great stay in St Leonard’s at the design house! Great location for exploring the area, and a unique place to stay with great art everywhere you turn! Thanks Marsha for sharing your amazing home!

The carriage was lovely and situated in a perfect spot , 5/10 min to nice pubs , beach and funfair . The kids loved the alpacas in the field next to us . Only one issue , not enough cooking/bbq pots pans and utensils for 4 adults and 3 small kids but overall we had a great time and would love to stay again .

Worth every penny! We stayed here for 5 weeks while I did my cabin crew training at the CAE. Beautiful property just like the photos, squeaky clean, private and everything we needed to make it home!! Sarah is super responsive and helpful in every way. Clean linen and towels every week as promised, bed linen was so soft!! Brighton is a 20 minute drive & great for the weekends.. Sarah gave us lots of great recommendations, which we loved! Thank you so much again Sarah, you are a beautiful person inside and out!! Xx

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at. The property and amenities were fab and the location was prefect walking distance to the coast line and marina. 10/10 recommend!!

My wife and I stayed four nights at Oak Tree Retreat In June. It is a lovely place. It is obvious that a lot of work and care has gone into making this a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Our hosts, Alexia & James, were very friendly and helpful. The gifts of bread, biscuits, hot chocolate and marshmallows on arrival were a generous touch and much appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The cabin had all we needed for our stay during which we mainly self-catered. The cooking arrangements were great. The absolute highlight was the hot tub which we enjoyed for three of our four nights! There is lovely walking country within a five minute drive from the Cabin. Local shops and food outlets are close by. I would certainly recommend Oak Tree Retreat to anyone.

We had such a great stay at the cabin. It’s so secluded and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire pit under the stars with our dog. The bed was big and comfy and Nick was a communicative host. We’ll definitely be back.

We had an amazing couple of nights at the Potager. The property and garden were just as pictured, and we had everything we could possibly have needed. Katie and her husband were wonderful hosts, and we felt they were always on hand to help should we have needed anything. We arrived to some local goodies, which were quickly demolished - what a lovely touch. The house itself was beautifully decorated and very well set up, and the garden was an oasis. We felt so well rested and relaxed after our stay, and didn’t want to leave! The surrounding area was peaceful and quiet, with lovely walks from the doorstep. We couldn’t recommend the Potager more and certainly hope to return!

Absolutely brilliant Air BnB. Great location to visit Eastbourne, Brighton, Rye, Wakehurst etc though the track to it is pretty bumpy so not ideal if you are going out several times a day. However, we went out in the morning & back in the evening & it’s so quiet & peaceful when you are there, it didn’t bother us. Accommodation was exactly like the photos & was so well stocked e.g. welcome basket, milk, dish washer tablets, biscuits etc & they saved our bacon because we forgot dog bowls but there they were in the cupboard; absolutely brilliant 🤩 Extremely clean & beautifully decorated throughout with shampoo & shower gel included. Was made to feel really welcome & our little westie, Minnie, thoroughly enjoyed her week away as well. Probably one of the best Air BnBs we have ever stayed in. Will definitely return when we next visit Sussex 😊😊

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin over the Easter weekend. Groombridge is a lovely, tucked away area and the cabin feels very remote and peaceful. Christopher made us feel very at home and I cannot recommend the pizza more! Perfect dough recipe. Comfortable sleeping and spacious for 7. Highly recommend ⭐️

Really lovely cabin and location, perfect stay for us and two dogs with the enclosed garden really convenient for this. Very clear instructions on how to find and so peaceful and a great short walk into the forest. Would love to return again soon.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The space is really well laid out and thoughtfully put together — it felt very comfortable and easy to settle into. The bed was genuinely one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in, which made a big difference. Check-in was smooth and easy to coordinate, and everything was exactly as described. The bathroom was spotless, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need in terms of cutlery and utensils. Joe was a great host, friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience really straightforward. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Had a lovely stay. The accommodation was great as was the peaceful woodland which it overlooks. We enjoyed sitting next to the fire pit in the evenings and as well as waking up to see wildlife right outside our window. I would recommend it to others looking for a peaceful get away.
