Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Bridgend

The house was gorgeous, had everything we needed and a secure outside area for our dog. We got parked on the side road right by the house. Perfect for Gavin and Stacey fans, Gwen’s is just around the corner and it’s only a 20 min walk to Marcos on Barry Island. Also only a short walk to the train station, we would love to stay again if in the area.

Beautiful accommodation, perfect for my teenage daughter and a few friends to have a lovely pamper evening, thank you for the little extra touches it was lovely, Tianna has made you a little gift to thank you xx

A huge thank you to Ceri! We enjoyed our vist. Everything we needed was available. The beds were comfortable and the duvets wonderfully fluffy. When we got a bit chilly, it was no problem - the house warmed up quickly. We always found a parking spot, even if we returned late at night. We recommend! 🤗🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇪🇪🥰

Fantastic hosts , really helpful and responsive . Lots of information about the local area and things to do. House was very clean and comfortable, with everything you needed , beds and beddings was really cosy and we slept so well , we didn’t actually want to leave and stayed longer than originally booked. The views and local walks were beautiful too . The local pub was nice although we only had a drink there. Kitchen facilities were so good we cooked most the time. Highly recommend

We had a lovely five night stay at Peacock Cottage. We had a car rental and used it as a home base for hiking the Exmoor Coast potion of the South West Coast Path, Minehead to Combe Martin. It was the perfect location and we really enjoyed returning home to our cozy cottage after a long day of hiking. The property is charming and what we wanted, a true country cottage. Instructions were clear for everything from parking, garbage collection, recycling, shower, laundry, etc. Absolutely loved cooking on the Aga. The area is quiet and peaceful, directly near the river. The Rockford Inn pub across the street was lovely as well.

Stayed at Sue & Mikes home for a weekend away and didn’t disappoint. Beautiful home, everything you could need was present for such an enjoyable stay. Kitchen being hub of the home, great bedrooms with plenty of space, comfortable and everything prestine and welcoming. Bathrooms also brilliant. All in all a great place for get togethers, chilling, places to visit for walks, attractions. Thank you.

We spent a lovely week in Gareth’s property while we were working in the area. It had all the features we needed, and even with a few WiFi hiccups it was all resolved in the end. Gareth was easy to contact with prompt responses. He went out of his way to enable our stay to be the best it could

Enjoyed a couple of days here and as soon as we walked in we were impressed with the cleanliness and decor. Lovely to see the sea from the window. Sarah gave great instructions on how to find the place, how to check in, check out and is really friendly and helpful.

This was our second time at Greentiles and we loved it as much as our first stay. It’s such a great location and my boys and I loved the pool and hot tub. A word of caution to dog owners, the ticks in May were intense so keep an eye on your dog! But they seem to reduce from July onwards. Highly recommend a stay!

Loved the Caravan clear instructions as to how to access and gain entry which was useful as we did not realise just how big the site was! It was very clean warm and comfortable also very well equipped. I have to say I did not read the instructions carefully enough and brought no bedding with us. This was resolved via the Reception on the site and for a small deposit we were provided with bedding which was delivered! Deposit returned on return of the bedding so no crisis. Lots of lovely walking from the caravan perfect for the dog. We were visiting friends in the area and would definitely consider coming again.

Richard was a friendly and welcoming host, very prompt at replying to queries and offering advice. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped. The pool and hacienda were a fantastic bonus when the weather was wet. Three generations visited and all highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property!!

Loved our stay! Cottage was cozy and comfortable with beautiful views, and the kids loved the garden. Gorgeous walks right outside the door, and the Britannia Pub serves amazing food and is essentially next door. What’s not to like?

Would highly recommend Sidney’s caravan. It’s in a lovely peaceful location right next to the water. Pristine inside, with everything you need. Sidney was always responsive and flexible with check-in and out times, we really appreciated it.

We had a wonderful stay at Swyn-Y-Mor. Derek was a brilliant host, really friendly and always around in case we needed anything. The house itself is beautifully furnished with everything you could ever need, and it has amazing views all the way to Llangennith beach from the living/dining area. The location of the house is also great: walking distance from Llangennith/Rhossili bay, and down the road from a lovely pub. There are plenty of walks and other beaches a short drive away. We enjoyed dips in the pool and barbecues on the terrace whilst admiring the surrounding countryside. There is even a hot outdoor shower on the terrace which was such a treat after an afternoon surfing in the chilly sea! We will definitely be returning in the future!

The caravan is in a great location in a quiet section of the site and very close to 2 beaches. The site has plenty to entertain children. Porthcawl is only a short walk or drive away and has some great pub/restaurants. Jo was a great host. She responds quickly and the check in experience was nice and simple. Would definitely book again.

Nice place to say, we particularly enjoyed the proximity of the beach and the enclosed garden.

We had a short but lovely stay! I travelled with my dog to participate in a Canitrail canicross event up in the hills. This was the perfect set up for us - gated garden, parking right at the door for easy unpacking of our gear. Lovely little self contained apartment. We were blessed with great weather up on the Bwlch for the event - stunning views. We went to Kenfig nature reserve and beach before our long drive home the next day, which was just perfect. Thanks so much for having us!

The Beach Cwtch is a great place to stay, very clean and exactly as described with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beach is practically on the doorstep and a short walking distance gets you to Newton village with two pubs and a few shops. Sue & Paul are friendly and welcoming hosts. I had a great stay and can highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the rustic barn. It had beautiful old beams & wood burner with a modern finish. DVD player & DVDs was a nice touch as well as all the books & recommendations from Matthew. We loved the secure paddock and court yard as the dogs were very safe. Location was great as we had everything we wanted within an hour. He even dropped some floor wipes over as we had run out. Communication was good from the start especially as we had a very last minute booking. Thankyou we will be back

Our stay at ‘The Dairy’ was amazing. The listing was accurate and Claire was a friendly and welcoming host. At first I was a bit nervous to bring my rather reactive dog to a working farm but Panda loved the stay. The surroundings were peaceful, I loved waking up to the sounds of lambs on the field across us. We made use of the chairs by the shared garden and a morning cuppa there with the sunrise was divine. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the amenities available were enough to make lovely dinners for 2 everyday. The location was rural enough to detach from the hustle & bustle but close enough to local shops should you need to shop for anything! 100% would love to stay again!

Sweet little cottage but lacking nothing! Immaculately clean and a very comfy bed. Very much appreciated the crumpets, butter and jam near a modern toaster, all ready for our arrival! Communication and getting in via the lockbox was straightforward. We had a lovely weekend here, thanks xxx
