So much information given about the surrounding area and what it had to offer. Was very helpful and quick with replies, even let us check in an hour earlier. Left us a little present of Prosecco! Started our girls holiday off right and also left with some milk and home made Welsh cakes! Which was need after our long drive down. Place was really tidy and clean, was hard to keep it that way. Location is amazing and the people around town were super friendly and helpful. We are already thinking of visiting again as we didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted Thank you so much for a lovely long weekend.

A Coastal Path Beach House With Sea Views

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a fantastic stay at Sam’s place. Sam was a great host, really responsive and helpful! There is one photo on the listing that must have been taken before the wooden fence was put up - however the wooden fence makes the place so private and peaceful it’s even better than pictured! Its fully enclosed courtyard is perfect for a dog. The facilities were exactly as pictured - hot tub was 10/10 and there was everything we needed. Would absolutely stay again and would recommend to friends and family. There’s a great coastal walk into Llanwit Major that we’d recommend.

We’ve just returned from the most delightful short break in a beautiful college cottage tucked away in the heart of Wales. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort — tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of character. Surrounded by rolling hills and the peaceful sounds of nature, it felt like a true escape from the everyday. This little haven gave us the peace and quiet we craved, along with the warmth and welcome of a truly special place. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of our return xx

5 bedroomed seaside cottage w/entertainment centre

RosemaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We took Rachel’s lovely home for a ‘hybrid half term ‘ with Mum commuting to work whilst Dad and Granny ran the home front for children 8 , 5 and 3 yrs. The house ,garden and detached entertainment room gave us all plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. I can imagine that if we return in 10 years time it would still be a brilliant space. On the one sunny day (!) our best friends came for lunch and we ate in the garden. We enjoyed watching a film together in the attic space. The decor is both characterful and appropriate for a holiday home. The armour in the snug was ‘awesome’. Rest Bay ( best for beach play ) is 10 minutes drive away. Coney Beach ( fun fair / amusements) is easily walkable but very expensive and limited in suitable rides for an adventurous 3 year old. Mum and Dad highly recommend 1832 for a restaurant date night.
The kitchen and dining area is visible, featuring wooden cabinetry and a large dining table surrounded by chairs. Appliances include a stainless steel fridge, an electric oven, and various small kitchen gadgets. Natural light enters through the window, illuminating the space.

Fantastic stay at Roger’s cottage! A real gem of a find from the many places we’ve stayed at through work this year. The house, garden and all the facilities were great, Roger was also a great host that was very hospitable and communicated brilliantly, he really went the extra mile. Really spacious place with lots of rooms and all the facilities you need for a short or long stay. Would absolutely recommend at will certainly be looking to book again in 2026 when we return to work in the area again!
The exterior of the cottage is adorned with a vibrant display of climbing roses and lush greenery. Sunlight streams over the stone pathway leading towards the inviting entrance, framed by flowering plants that create a serene and welcoming environment.

The lovely stay in the laundry cottage enhanced our holiday experience tremendously. The gardens are beautiful, the pool a joy to swim in and the surroundings peaceful and quaint. We are looking forward to coming back soon for more exploring.

6 of us stayed here for taking part in the Dragon ride. Perfect location for this as it's a straight road to the start. The accommodation was everything you'd expect from a farm cottage, quirky, nice layout and great facilities. Easy check in and out, what more do you need! Thanks John/Liz for providing a cracking place to stay.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely peaceful location. We had a family wedding locally but made this into a long weekend for our family of four. The accommodation has everything you need and was extremely clean. Comfortable beds and a large living/dining area. A welcome hamper and toys/games were a lovely touch. We enjoyed seeing the horses too.
