Cottage vacation rentals in Bowen Island

This place is really special and exactly as it looks in the photos (but better in person!) We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace in the mornings, and listening to the local birds in the trees that surround the cabin. The view from the terrace is really magnificent!! We also indulged in the wood fired hot tub to make the most out of the beautiful forest surroundings. This stay was really one to remember, and I'm already dreaming about coming back another time. The roadside parking space had plenty of room for one car, two vehicles would be a tight squeeze.

Our group of seven absolutely loved Danoosh’s place! Lots of amenities, short drive to town, private space, GREAT beds, lots of towels and flip flops for the hot tub! Right off the highway, so quite a lot of road noise (mostly during the day), but it didn’t bother our group at all - just something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to it. We absolutely loved playing badminton in the yard! Would definitely recommend Danoosh’s place.

Loved our stay at the Little Bear Cabin. Richard went above and beyond to get the hot tub set up in winter conditions. The wood fired hot tub is great in the winter and worth the effort. Thank Richard for a great time!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home with two families and young children. The location cannot be beat - a few minute walk to the centre of town and right on the ocean. The home itself was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. Corry was extremely quick to respond to a couple of questions we had when we arrived. We would highly recommend for anyone visiting Gibsons, with or without kids.

Lovely space, beautiful garden, absurdly fantastic bathroom, wonderfully accommodating. Thoughtful and considerate host - and responsive to any questions or issues. Like many of the best places, the pictures don’t do it justice - it’s even nicer than that!

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. There was a small issue with the heating but he was very responsive and did his best to solve the problem. The cottage had everything you need to cook a family meal and a fire that heats up the whole living space. Overall it was a lovely cottage to spend a long weekend.

Over on the Sunshine Coast for work. This is the fourth time we have stayed at Jonathan's place (twice last year, twice this year). As always everything very clean and all the required amenities. Very peaceful / private location. Will certainly stay again.

We had a great long weekend at Gloria’s cottage. The marina was beautiful to look over and the general store was convenient for basics. The staff were friendly and very helpful for recommendations around the island.

The place is in the beautiful North Vancouver, 3 minutes from the bus station. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants 12-15 minutes walk. Quite and calm. I would recommend to renew some cabinetry but everything is functional. Thank you!

Christine’s place is absolutely gorgeous! The entire stay was just perfect. Christine’s home is in a quiet area, we spent many days on the patio watching all the wild life…bald eagles, seals, whales. So relaxing! And when we wanted to do some shopping & get dinner, her home is just a short 20-30 minute drive to Vancouver. She has kayaks & life vests for guests, it was great & the first time my family ever kayaked. Christine was very kind & attentive too. If we had a question or wanted a recommendation on activities/restaurants, she responded very quickly. I would HIGHLY recommend her place. I hope we can come back to visit soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pages, the location was beautiful. We enjoyed renting kayaks and exploring the bay. The nearby park also had some great hiking trails and beach. The cabin had everything you needed and the wood burning stove was nice to have on the chilly nights. It is about 15 minutes to the amenities in town and the ferry so not the closest if that’s important to you but we thought their little store had most necessities and didn’t mind.

Had a lovely stay at Gordon and Susan’s place! Their cottage has so much character and felt very homely. The view out the back was such a treat. Walkable to Davis Bay and lanterns were provided to guide our way home! My mother enjoyed morning walks down through their beach access and the coffee machine! Gordon went so far as to check in with me after our ferry was extremely delayed to make sure we weren’t stranded on the Coast for the night! Very thoughtful.

This is a stunning, restful, get away! Would have liked to stay many days. As a horse person I absolutely loved being around them. Bonus to have a piano to play! Comfortable beds, fully functional kitchen and nice to have additional half bathroom. We sat out on the deck in the evening to enjoy the night sky. Attentive hosts. Highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely, clean and quiet home in a great location just outside Roberts Creek. A great outdoor area for relaxing and all the amenities you need for a stay.

The house was extremely neat and clean. First impression was very positive. Once we were settled in, we had everything we needed. Very pleased.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Luna’a cabin! Everything was very clear prior to check in and Luna was always quick to respond to any messages. The cabin itself was spacious, clean, comfortable, and offered a view of the bay through the French doors which we loved. It was also very well located, within short driving distance to Sechelt!

This place was hard to leave. The cozy vibe, little details, good books, plants, and amenities/accessories made us feel immediately at home. Me and my boyfriend had the best relaxing day, and taking a shower outside with the rain shower was awesome. The outhouse was really clean, didn't smell bad, and was easy to use. It was nice to be able to relax on the comfy seats outside. Verena was super friendly and she really made us feel safe and cared for. Also the bed is really comfy. The area is super walkable, we walked to an area that you can enjoy a pretty waterfront area. I want to come back here as soon as I can, seriously.

Nice place. Very private. About a 25 minute walk down to the beach along a beautiful path. The sauna was really nice to have, but a bit muddy to get to it. Kitchen and living room area were beautiful and perfect for hanging out, dining and playing games. Great location to get into Gibsons and Sechelt.

We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the summer. It was a very comfortable house for our large family. Beautiful area, very easy to find and get back and forth.
