This unique and tranquil getaway was hand built using many of the timbers from the property. It is a tiny cottage with peak a boo views to the ocean. Located close to a deer crossing, and a walk to local beaches, the property has wildlife, eagles and large towering trees. The cottage was built using natural materials, with some kiln dried cedar planks and "shou sugi ban" exterior cedar siding. It is a 10-12 minute drive to Snug Cove. Our romantic cottage at “The Rock” is situated on our waterfront property about halfway between Gibsons and Sechelt; it's the perfect place to chill out and explore the Sunshine Coast. Close to hiking trails, kayaking, paddle boarding and shopping. We live in the main house down by the water, our private cottage is located at the entrance to the property. There is beach access about 50 feet away from the driveway as at times our beach can be dangerous due logs that pile up from winter storms.
