Cabin vacation rentals in Bodmin

We had booked in for a very short stay of only two nights but we wish it had been longer, much longer. We cannot fault The Signal Box; everything to make a stay pleasant, convenient and enjoyable had been thought of. The exceptional view, the history of Luckett Station, the friendly sheep, the hot-tub, the superbly comfortable bed - all combined to make this an experience that we will remember for a long time to come. The entire property was beautifully kept, with immaculate gardens and a very high standard inside. The instructions for access on arrival to the property were clear and easy to follow and the business is obviously very well run. Definitely worth recommending to others and a return visit. Thank you for having us.

Spa Lodge was a welcome retreat from city life. set in a verdant garden only a short walk from fantastic beaches. we loved every minute of our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Porthilly Lodge! The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the cabin had everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful when we needed help with the hot tub, going out of their way to assist us quickly and kindly. The nearby little beach was lovely for an evening stroll, and for those looking for a longer outing, the walk to the ferry and a day in Padstow is well worth it. We’d happily recommend staying here, and we’ve already talked about coming back!

A LOVELY place to stay, especially if you're looking for peace and relaxation. It was extremely private - some reviews said it wasn't as private as advertised, but this is absolutely not the case. There is another building on the property, but it isn't in use when the Airbnb is being rented. The entire outdoor space (including bar and hot tub) are solely yours to use. It was amazing. Also fantastic for our dogs. While it rained a lot, we still used the hot tub and let the dogs roam whenever possible. The space is also really nice. It's small, but we had no trouble making it work for two adults and two dogs. It really had everything we needed for our four days. The host is also fantastic. Samantha provided all the information we needed beforehand, but was also responsive when we had questions about the location (despite it being quite late when we arrived). As other reviews said, there is a farm nearby and the roosters do what they do...but I found the sounds comforting. We recommend!

Wow what an amazing find! This place is fabulous. Very clean, absolutely loads of essentials. They have thought of everything. Would highly recommend this place to stay. The outside space is perfect, hot tub was great and the other side of the cabin has a beautiful bbq area. The Sauna was great and nice addition. We loved the golf. Can’t wait to return!

Thank you both for a brillant stay. The surroundings were perfect. The mottled light in the evening around the fire was perfect. The sauna, cold drop & hot tub made the stay very special and relaxing. Some really cool attention to detail stuff in the cabin. It was super cosy & comfortable. Second time staying here, this time we bought the children! They absolutely loved it; especially the hot tub and the animals. Very peaceful and we was lucky to enjoy the garden in the sunshine!! We did have an unexpected visit from some dogs which startled the children as they’re scared of dogs but they swiftly moved on. Pam’s husband came to check everything was okay and couple of times which was nice apart from that was very private😊. Besides the animals we also found a lovely local park for the kids and purchased some homemade jam from a neighbour. Will most definitely look to book again in the future. X

Lovely, clean accommodation, comfy beds. Loved the lake view, very peaceful location. Also good amenities on site - swimming pool, basic shop and restaurant. Jules' information was very clear.

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. This is a wonderful, secluded home from home with a fully equipped kitchen and private garden. There is off road parking. It is next to Barney and Sue's house but very quiet and private/separate. The pub The Crown in st ewes is 10/10 with great food and only 10 minutes walk away. It is only a ten to fifteen minute drive from the coast path. Very clean overall but if you dont like a slightly doggy smell and some small spiders it may not be for you. Tip - there wasn't any salt or ground coffee so bring you're own if you plan to cook/use cafetiere! Sue was kind enough to leave some milk and some instant coffee and tea as well as some other snacks which was very kind.

Cheryl, was very friendly and helpful and responded really quickly to any questions we had. She recommended a few dog friendly beaches to take the dog, as at this time of the year quite a few beaches ban dogs in Cornwall, so it’s worth knowing where to gol. The accommodation was a perfect base in which to explore Cornwall. Although, we thought it slightly smaller than the photos suggested! However, it was cosy and well equipped with everything we needed. The welcome treats for us and the dog on arrival, were also very much appreciated. The location of the accommodation is beautiful and very quiet, but you will definitely need a car and a SatNav, as the local shop and 2 pubs are quite a distance away. All in all, a lovely week spent here, thank you again Cheryl.

This is a lovely light & spacious cabin with great coastal views in a quiet location. It was a great base to explore this part of the north Devon coast and we'd happily stay here again

Fantastic little spot in a beautiful valley. Very warm greeting from Tim when we arrived giving us some insight about the local access for walking. Great spot to escape - very quiet and calm location with very comfortable accommodation with everything you would need. Definitely be revisiting !

Great location, picturesque views, spacious living room and kitchen with all appliances, we also enjoyed sunny weather in the decking area. Good value for money. Overall, very pleased with the stay.

Review: I had a great stay! The place was very clean, especially the bathroom, which I really appreciated. Check-in was super easy thanks to the clear instructions. The host also provided a helpful list of local recommendations, which made exploring the area even better. I’d definitely stay here again!

Nothing short of brilliant, Isla even offered to pick us up from the station or from the further station due to bags and train delays. Very helpful every step of the way with a cabin that felt like home, especially useful for a lazy day in if you have a break day from exploring. Definitely hope to come back! :)

I stayed at the cabin with my friend for 2 nights. It’s such a beautiful space, very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s situated within stunning surroundings and includes a sauna and cold shower which we loved. It was the perfect place for us to unwind away from the city for a few days and explore a great part of Cornwall. The hosts Jessica and Stu were also very helpful. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

The place of stay was quaint and relaxing. There are lots of things to do in the day and night, given you have a car to get to and from. There are no complaints, they even have an option of buying a fire starting kit, so you don’t have to worry about if you want to have a barbecue. The hosts were very friendly and were happy to help with anything needed. It was a fantastic couple of days.

The Bothy is perfect for a simple, affordable stay. I went to a wedding at Roscarrock Manor Farm, and could walk back in around 15 mins, saving havin to get a taxi or lifts on a busy weekend! Clean, tidy and cosy. Really nice hot shower in the morning and well insulated - thought I might need warm clothes for the night, but was pleasantly surprised. Mark was very responsive and allowed an early check-in, which was incredibly useful before heading to the wedding ceremony. Whilst I didn’t make use of the small kitchen facilities, I would have happily stayed there for a longer stay, as it had everything I would have needed. Great location, and would recommend as an option for anyone who wants to save money, and just needs simple well-provisioned essentials.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful place. The natural beauty surrounding the place was simply breathtaking. It was incredibly peaceful and private. Waking up to the sound of waves and birds gently chirping was pure bliss. A special shout out to our host, who was extremely welcoming and helpful. They truly went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed - their hospitality made the experience even more memorable.

Beautiful lodge with stunning surroundings. Inside it is decorated lovely and in pristine condition. The shower is a great asset, lovely and hot looking over the meadow. Laura the host is a very bubbly friendly host with great recommendations! I would highly recommend this place for a lovely get away.
