A beautiful little place in the countryside. The kitchen was well equipped so we could prepare simple meals. The surrounding areas are great for walks, country pubs and quant little villages to explore. Mel's helpful directions and pictures made it easy to find. We would definitely recommend Mel's place.

Gill's place has a very homely feel. It was very easy to find, really comfortable and lovely and clean. Just what we needed for a bank holiday weekend. Gill provided a lovely stock of groceries including fruit, bread, butter, milk and marmalade. she was very friendly and helpful in her messages as well.

Charles was an excellent host, providing plenty of information beforehand and leaving thoughtful provisions for us. The kitchen was well equipped, making our evening meal preparation easy. The house would not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues due to the original stairs which fit the character of the building. While there is no parking directly at the house, loading and unloading out front was convenient and we had no issues parking our two cars on the green opposite. The garden space was lovely, perfect for relaxing and dining outdoors during the sunny weather we had.

I loved this place so much, I booked for an extra 2 months. I’ll leave a proper review when I check out.
