Lara is a spectacular host. The apartment is amazing, but the surroundings are even better if you're looking for a quiet and intimate accommodation. While there, you don't feel the need to go out and visit anything nearby. It was our choice to escape the hustle and bustle of the city with our dogs, and this will certainly not be the last time we visit San Martín del Valledor. We are so sad we had to leave. What an amazing space. The house is a beautiful simple cabin in the heart of the river basin miles from anywhere. Total tranquility. Comfortable beds and amazing views. Laura is super eco centric with a fabulous place and she and Gideon were so welcoming. There are plenty of friendly bees about and they were careful to check with us we were not allergic.

We enjoyed some quiet days in the house. It is tastefully decorated, and has everything you need to spend a few days and explore the surroundings, thanks to the recommendations they gave us on arrival. Also, Conchita gave us a zucchini and peppers from her garden, delicious! A small catch is that the house, being an ancient haystack, is something dark, but that's how it's cooler inside. I would definitely recommend it to get to know this Asturian area.
