Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bay of Biscay

The little house in the square is a lovely place to spend a few quiet days. Its location is exceptional and the area is spectacular, both for its vegetation and for its tranquility. Daniel has been attentive to us at all times and recommended activities and places to visit. The house was very clean and tidy and there was no lack of detail. Our stay was unbeatable.

This is the second time we've spent a quiet time in this little haven of peace and we'll be back for sure!

Jacqueline is a great host, very friendly and accommodating. The accommodation matches the photos, everything is well done and practical (towels, tissues, blanket). We had a great time. The only downside would be that for 10 people, 2 bathrooms (including one in the master suite) is a little tight and the fridge a little small, but when you come as a family you adapt and it works! We'll keep this address for next time. 😉 Thanks again for everything Jacqueline, it was great!!!! 🤗

What a wonderful place to stay a few days. The house has been designed, developed and decorated by the hostess herself. Fully equipped and very well insulated, with spacious rooms and good beds. The WiFi is excellent, TV equipped with all apps, we lacked nothing. Safe and private parking within the walls was also convenient. Sheila is a great host and lives nearby. In short, super!!

We had a wonderful weekend discovering the charms of the Marais and northern Vendée. The setting is peaceful and rejuvenating, with plenty of activities nearby. We enjoyed local specialties like brioche and oysters, and ended our stay with fun pool games at the property — a real treat! Aurélie and Jean-Luc are lovely hosts, caring and always offer good advice. A big thank you to you, and we look forward to coming back, we recommend it.

Very nice apartment, very comfortable, beautiful view of the port, matches the photos. Small downside, access via the stairs is steep and narrow. check-in instructions not given by Airbnb or late, therefore difficult to find the garage. Thanks to Virginie for being responsive.

An absolutely stunning classically, well thought out, French property! The house was stunning and attention to detail was second to none! We loved it here, the house is fully equipped and has gorgeous little touches. The host is extremely responsive on messages and via telephone, and if travelling from UK, which we were his English is fantastic. Jean-Christophe sent plenty of information to us before our arrival and made some recommendations too! Be careful when arriving at property if you are driving as if you take the wrong turning (the entrance to the place is in the front square) you have a long 10 minute drive to get all the way back around the one way system again! We did have to wait quite a while for the lady who met us at the property however it wasn’t a big issue, she was great and very helpful too! Absolutely recommend this place. Thanks Jean-Christophe

Perfectly located appartment, and the garage is a huge advantage. Very nice place to stay at, close to everything, and easy to get in/out. I would not recommended it if you have small kids. There is some safety issues like the stairs, windows, plugs, and furniture that can fall.

Su and her place in San Sebastián are great — the reviews speak for themselves. She’s very communicative, super helpful in getting you situated in the area, and can help you make really hard-to-find reservations (Elkano, for example). She helps with daily recommendations and her place is clean, exactly as described, and located right in the middle of La Parte Vieja of San Sebastián, 50 steps from the best pintxos in the world. 5 stars!!

We loved this apartment. The design was on point and had everything we needed for a family of five. The location was superb. Everything was walking distance and centrally located. Loved it! Highly recommend.

Very nice rental that perfectly matches the Airbnb listing. Thierry is very friendly and very responsive. The city of Saujon is very cute with pleasant walks along the Seudre.

A traditional building in the old quarter but the flat itself was very modern and in excellent taste. The old town was fascinating but the newer streets towards the Marina were also lively. Great recommendations for eating out and we tried most of them.

We had a fantastic week as a family of 10, ranging in age 83 to 16. The space was absolutely perfect for us to spend time together in the lounge and around the swimming pool. Not many places are this close to a beautiful sandy beach with les halles less than 5 mins away by cycle. We loved Les Bois en Plage and highly recommend it for everything it has to offer. A special thanks to Emmanuelle for being such a responsive and considerate host...answering so many of our questions!

The house is just incredibly beautiful! We enjoyed everything so much. It has everything you need and you can relax immediately. The pool is like a little oasis! We had a wonderful week with lots of peace and all the amenities that made the vacation perfect. Thanks, Yann!

Beautiful house, very good bedding and very well maintained / easy to use (ground floor). The fenced and secure park (with playground) for children - ideal! Living room with wood stove, very pleasant in the evening and cocooning - a haven of peace. Very responsive host on the platform, beach recommendations and easy communication. In short, a great place.

Beautiful place located a short walk from the beach of Plaisance! A great sandy beach to enjoy pleasant moments! We found in Romain's house and his companion everything we expected: the calm of a large garden under the pine trees, a house in which we knew right away that our stay would be great, the characteristic smells of the seaside...!!! Finally, Romain is very responsive, attentive, and will be good advice to tell you where to treat! Really a great week, we will come back without a problem!!! We were there as a family for almost two weeks. The place is just as great as shown in the pictures. The surroundings are very nice and quiet, the beach is nearby and beautiful. Larger supermarkets are easily accessible by car. The surroundings are very quiet and you can hear the sea. The amenities in the house are excellent, clean and very comprehensive and there is plenty to discover for children. Communication was very quick if you had questions and the hosts are very courteous with positive communication. Overall, I can only recommend the stay, the stay was 11 out of 10.

from the opening of the door, we returned to paradise. the pool with jaccuzi in the living room is beautiful. have a lovely evening.
