Castle vacation rentals in Bay of Biscay

I am PMR wheelchair and crutches. Accessible PMR for someone walking a little. Very nice park with very large trees. A very nice pool not very hot but pleasant. Generous breakfasts and a view of the park. A beautiful castle that welcomes little chihuahuas. A very nice peaceful room with kitchen. We had a lovely and relaxing August 15th. The tower is such a special place, truly memorable - like nowhere we’ve ever stayed before. Beautiful views - the best in St Martin - with unique architecture and a peaceful garden that made us feel we were in the countryside despite being in the heart of the town. And Alain was a great host, friendly and welcoming - and with an amazing atelier! We hope we can return very soon.

And we don't say it for saying we travel a lot and stay in many places, but a hostess like Pilar we haven't had yet still. very attentive to us throughout the stay, she advised us beautiful places that she had visited and lived. a lot of charm The apartment is BEAUTIFUL!! and in a SPECTACULAR castle, the experience is worth living A situation in a dream place,IT IS A FAIRY TALE We leave with a lot of sorrow and really looking forward to coming back THANK YOU PILLAR!!

We had a fabulous time at Antoine's place! The house is very nice, the living rooms on the ground floor are beautifully decorated while the bedroom is very large, well heated and the four-poster bed large and comfortable The sunny weather also allowed us to enjoy the pretty well-maintained park. Hearty and excellent breakfast to complete everything We also recommend nearby La Roche Bernard, beautiful little village where you can find great dinner. Thank you to our hosts

This was a magical experience! Rather than just look from the outside, we actually slept in a chateaux furnished in period furniture. Although it is a ways from town and requires a car…. It was well equipped for cooking meals, lots of peaceful outdoor space and a beautiful setting. Felt like I’d stepped back in time (but the bathrooms were modern.). The owners met us, showed us around although their English is limited. They were warm and welcoming.

The most beautiful chateaux, lovely grounds, very tranquil, everything we needed. We felt very privileged to stay in David’s beautiful home. David was an amazing host, superb recommendations, thank you so much

Another great, but quick visit to Champdolent. The chateau is starting to feel like our second home in Charentes. Thanks Dominque and Line.

We had a lovely stay at Monique's place at the start of our holiday in Bordeaux. The location is great, a turn off a main road and you are in the private and peaceful grounds of the chateaux, with one side completely to yourself. Monique was very kind to our little daughter and helpful in providing a cot, bath and high chair to make things really easy for us. The grounds are lovely, with a little river running through nearby. The apartment is cosy and comfortable. This would be a great stay for anyone looking to do trips into Bordeaux or the surrounds and easily get back to a quiet sanctuary. A tip from me would be to drive to the Park and Ride at the Hippodrome rather than use the nearest one to the property - the angles there are very tight!

A fantastic family chateau that accommodated 3 families comfortably, and even nicer in real life than in the photos. Large well kept grounds and loads of space to explore. There is plenty to do in the local area. Basic amenities within a few minutes' drive including a great riverside bistro in Daon, the nearby large town of Chateau-Gontier is 15 mins away while Angers is around 40 mins away for everything a city provides. Highly recommended!

Château de la Caillotière is completely wonderful and I am so grateful that we were able to book this place. Christel was super helpful and provided suggestions on local activities, sights, restaurants, as well as very yummy Loire Valley specialties. Thank you so much for everything!

We stayed at the place in Quimperle for a little over a week. The place is very nice, great corners, delicious restaurants and a great playground on the river. From there you could easily make excursions to other cities and beaches. Above all, we enjoyed the coastal hikes as a family.

We were very well hosted. The place was very large with lots of separate beds, there are no "dormitory" rooms. The gardens with the terrace overlooking the bay is definitely a plus without any neighbors opposite The charm of this house remains one of the major assets!

We really had a lovely time in Brittany and enjoyed our stay in this amazing apartment. The host extremely helpful und supportive!

If you want to meet an authentic welcome and a peaceful place to rest. Go for it! Everything is in keeping: Monique's personalized welcome, both available and discreet, an arrival in front of a typical mansion, a super well-maintained garden (nature lovers, relax in the deckchairs or wake up to the sound of birdsong), enter your outbuilding of the mansion by a staircase that creaks a little and let yourself be invaded by a cozy room equipped with its private bathroom and a coffee break area and its cookies embellished with a fridge where fresh water and homemade tangerine juice await you to die for!

My family and I had the most wonderful time staying here. The castle is full of history. The rooms are so comfortable and everything is in amazing condition. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect stay, everything matches the listing photos and description. The castle is very well suited for a group of friends of 12 people! The plus points of the place: the two stoves with wood provided, the board games and raclette machines to have a good time. I would highly recommend it!
