Vacation rentals with beach access in Bay of Biscay

Our Airbnb in Donostia was everything we could have wished for and more. Centrally located, bright, well equipped, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Amaya and Andrea have a first-class apartment that is perfect for short or longer term stays. Amaya was an excellent communicator and happily assisted us with making special arrangements which enhanced our visit to her beautiful city. Her recommendations for restaurants and activities were all spot on. We rent many Airbnbs and would recommend their’s to anyone looking for a high standard in accommodations.

A very nice apartment in a great location with fantastic views of the sea. We felt very comfortable there. Cooking and washing also worked well. Parking is right on the street. There are some beaches and coastal hiking trails nearby!

Spectacular views over the beach and city, very clean and modern flat tastefully decorated with a premium feel to everything. Particularly liked the kitchen and all the equipment. Parking was underground and secure and easy. The lift (whilst we had a day with it being broken) was convenient to get to the bottom of the hill. Very nice walk along the seafront promenade into the centre of town. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

The apartment is lovely and spacious with a good size comfortable bed. A lot of thought has gone into making the apartment perfect and it is spotlessly clean. Ana Maria and Juan were extremely helpful and responded very quickly to any questions we had.

dream stay at Thomas's. The apartment is superb,cozy,it feels good , well decorated, well-equipped. We would have gladly stayed there for more than two nights. the sea is at the foot of the large terrace and you don't get tired of the back and forth of the tides. In short, happiness and luck in addition to having nice and warm weather thomas's welcome booklet is a plus that can be helpful. That the lucky ones who can enjoy it do not hesitate, the rate charged is correct for the quality of the service.

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Laurence's house is ideally located. The terrace is a real joy when the sun is obviously out (but Laurence can't help it). We had a great weekend and would happily go back. Laurence was very responsive to our requests in advance. She is a host you can count on.

We extended very nice...lots of luck with the weather in addition! The walk to the GR34 side is beautiful, especially at sunset. Very well located for a walk in Guérande, La Baule, Piriac-sur-mer, and all the other seaside resorts in the region. Gite matches the photos and description, warm, well decorated and very well-equipped. Friendly welcome by Val and it's always nice to have little touches on arrival...very good lemon cake 😋 Good interaction with Gwen, who was later met. A special dedication, following Val's recommendations, for a restaurant "L 'amour à la plage" 7 minutes by car, taken over in April, with a veranda open to the beach and the sea...and "house" kitchen! A nice parenthesis...

Small cottage, very pleasant and above all very quiet. The private jacuzzi is a real plus to relax after beautiful hikes, or just when you want. Marion is really very nice, kind and attentive if needed. We had a great long weekend.

an airbnb worthy of a beautiful hotel. everything was there, the calm, the jacuzzi, the bathrobes, the futas, the beautiful and good quality linens. a functional and top kitchen. I will definitely come back... we were amazed by this quality and the darkness at night... a treat... for a restful sleep. close to the beach 5 min walk...shops and market 10 min walk...in short, ideal location and easy communication

We had a great time at Aurélie's vacation home. We felt comfortable from the beginning and everything was very clean. The beach is really right outside the door and beautiful. Glad to come back!

A very beautiful old house, typically Breton, which has been tastefully renovated. The harbor view is beautiful. The nights are very quiet. The accommodation is very clean and well-equipped. We had 4 very pleasant days and 3 nights. I would recommend it in a second.

Beautiful studio with an extraordinary sunset view over the rooftops. Very small but well-appointed and clean and space to store our things. Jean is responsive and flexible for check-in and the price is right. I recommend it for a few nights, no more. I'll be back.

Studio in the city center, very quiet and also close to the beach. The decor is neat, pleasant and the whole place is very functional and very clean. The nearby parking is really an asset. Isabelle is caring and responsive. Everything was perfect!!!

Very well located apartment (on the beach and close to the city center by bike), well arranged and well equipped. We were able to enjoy the balcony which is nice (and perfectly oriented to enjoy the sunset). Parking space and bikes are very appreciable. Our host was very responsive and we were welcomed by his parents who were lovely and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

juliens place was perfect for myself and jenny. ideal for couples. great views of the sea. it was "home from home" for us. arcachon is a great place for a relaxing holiday. it has everything and juliens place compliments the place. definitely going back.
