It’s the best AirBnB we’ve stayed in. Sue has thought of everything. It was homely, cosy, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed. It was lovely sitting in the conservatory eating our meals and looking out on the garden watching the birds. The kitchen had everything we needed and the welcome pack was a very lovely touch. The shower was lovely and hot. It was a lovely base to start our exploration of Rutland and we are already planning our next trip back. It is nice to know that we have found a home from home to stay in. Thank you Sue.

Super central place to stay in Oakham. Had everything we needed for a two person stay. It’s a couple of mins walk from everything and could by better placed. Permit parking is near to the house and some parking on same street if you can grab a spot. Permit is in the house when you arrive. Lovely outside space at the back which is accessed through the kitchen and the shower room is beyond that (so not on the same floor as the bedrooms - not an issue for us but worth noting for those who may struggle with stairs in the night). Super clean and tidy and TV has Netflix built in if you have an account. Would happily stay again when visiting Rutland

I had a 5 day therapy course up in Rutland and wanted to come back to somewhere peaceful with everything I needed on hand so I could decompress, cook my own meals and relax after a day of learning. The annex was a perfect place to stay. From the outset, Stephen was communicative and very responsive. He got a selection of bulbs for me when the bedside lamp bulb went. There was a slight issue with the TV reception which he proactively mentioned and offered to fix, although I was fine as I had a laptop so it didn't bother me. It was a really lovely touch for Stephen to leave tea bags, coffee and a fresh pint of milk in the fridge as well as few little essentials such as olive oil, salt and pepper. Yes, there are few little things here and there which might need a bit of updating but I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely little place. It was well worth it and the garden was beautiful too! Thank you!
