Cabin vacation rentals in Ballachulish

My husband and I were after a quiet couple of days away and Catherine's place was perfect! Stunning views, quiet and secluded. A perfectly formed little cabin with everything you could need. Very comfy bed and the hot tub is a lovely extra. Gartmore itself is a pretty little village but also within easy access to lots of lovely walks, lochs and scenery. Very happy customers!

Excellent accommodation and location, a real memorable trip. The restaurant is pretty much 'on-site' and was excellent. One negative - the hob. Seems like a small thing but when you are cooking for 8 and struggling to hold water at the boil it is frustrating. It was so weak. Since it is accommodation for 8, it really ought to be a more powerful hob. Frying bacon took *ages* ! Otherwise amazing, and highly recommended *****

Absolutely phenomenal find in the middle of nowhere. Stunning house, very clean, cute wee tea and coffee left for our first morning. The hot tub was warm, clean and in a fantastic location. What a great weekend we had. Thank you Nina 🩷

This cabin was idealic. Stunning location, so peaceful and the cabin itself was perfect. Spotlessly clean, every utensil you could need. Comfortable beds and pillows ( I would like to know where the pillows were purchased) fresh clean bedding. The hot tub was incredible. The bbq was a lovely bonus which we used of an evening. Would highly recommend and would love to return. Thank you Jane the stay was faultless 💗

Cabin was lovely and the area was quiet. The community nearby was lovely and there were plenty of walks nearby. the migies were a pest but that was due to the weather and the time of year. Would have been great if the boat hire place was still in use. however the locals said that might be reopening soon. Would happily stay again. Perhaps bring an sleep mask as the early morning light was a little bit of an issue. no lie ins this holiday.

Fantastic location that can’t be beat. The unit was modern and comfortable with everything we needed to compliment our travels around the Isle of Skye. Highly recommend.

The house is unique. The one floor layout, a balcony with uninterrupted views down the glen, birds and red squirrels on the railings outside - it was better than spring watch. The house is really comfortable, great layout with 2 beds and bathroom at one end and the master bedroom and en suite at the other. Very quiet, with lots of options around for walking. We all agreed we wanted to return - it has left abiding memories. Andrew, the owner, rang me while we were there, recommending great walks and places to visit, as well as answering questions - a great host.

A great spot to spend a night. The hut was lovely and cosy and spotlessly clean. Would love to spend a few days next time.

We had an amazing time in Alyson’s cabin. Even though the weather wasn’t kind, the view from the cabin makes up for it. Watching the weather change and the wonderful rainbows-amazing. Luss is a quaint, popular little village. So lovely when all the coach trips go home and you can explore on your own . There are a few places to eat and drink in Luss, the Loch Lomond hotel was lovely. We had a great walk up Ben Dubh, which is just behind Luss and also visited Conic Hill for an easier hike. The village walks are really pleasant too. The cabin had everything needed for a short stay, it was clean and well equipped. We would definitely recommend.

We got stuck on the Isle of Skye and had to get an place to stay same day for 5 people and a dog. Not an easy thing task. We were very glad to find this gem for half the price. For the full price I would say it’s to expensive. But for us just perfect.

Great wee cabin to spend some time in. very quiet and private, just what we like. spotless and very welcoming, bed so comfortable. we had everything that we needed. not too far from Dunoon where we found some dog friendly cafes as minnie goes everywhere with us. definitely recommend

Pauline was a wonderful host - her place was super cozy and comfortable in a wonderful location. She was extremely fast to respond to any questions we had. Her place had all the amenities one could want. Very highly recommended!

Esther's place is simply beautiful- the views are stunning and what you expect from vacation home! They both are awesome hosts and super kind & adjusting - especially when we ended up going to some other place 🤣🤣 The place is spotless (& I mean it)

Rose and John were great hosts - very helpful when we needed something but overall gave us space and privacy. The room was exactly as it appeared on the listing and the view of Ben Nevis was beautiful. The only downside was the noise from traffic since we were so close to the road but the fence and shrubs did a lot to hide that fact. It was a great location overall - just a short drive to Fort William and the Glen Nevis visitor center and within walking distance of a grocery store and train station. It was a great value for what we paid and I would absolutely recommend the spot.

Fiona was a fantastic host and accommodated all our needs. Really beautiful stay, the property had everything we required and was spotless. I’d highly recommend this stay to anyone!

We stopped on the way to Inverness for a night. I really enjoyed my stay here. It was easy to find and Larisa gave photos to locate the lodge along the road. I liked the complementary espresso and tea, and the shower was very very warm. The bedding smelled had that nice hotel smell, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Well decorated, not cluttered, excellent use of a small space with a beautiful view. I’ve seen the other reviews complain about the noise of the road, and though the cars are loud when outside, I couldn’t hear them while inside with the door shut. No complaints! Definitely recommend.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Rowan cabin. Everything was described in the listing and was just beautiful! The location was very peaceful and the cabin was very cosy and warm.

Had a great time staying here. Would definitelly come back if we are in the area again!
