Monthly Rentals in Balallan

Loved our stay in Balallan. The house is perfectly located for exploring both Lewis and Harris. The swing seat overlooking the loch was a highlight of our stay. Many thanks also for the lovely welcome gifts too. Much appreciated.

We had an amazing 6 nights here. Catherine and Les are wonderful hosts and full of information about the local wildlife and area. There are seals at the bottom of the croft and many birds. This was our second stay here and we want to return soon. The location is great as there is a nearby fuel station and store, and Stornaway is only half hour drive away. The views from the garden terrace are amazing.

What a great find . We come to the western isles a lot but usually have the car and like to stay out of Stornoway. We were only coming for the weekend this time and weren’t bringing car so booked to stay in town. the property is located a 5-7 min walk from the centre of town and is easy to find. the coop is next door and the location was quiet. The house is emasculate and the bed comfy. Gillian graciously let us stay a bit later on Sunday
