Window AC units in summer. TV in bedroom. (For some reason, the listing says 4 beds; that is incorrect.) The apt. is on the 2nd floor: 26 steps. (No elevator.) Parking in lot across the street. This was such a wonderful place to stay! Better than we even expected, The Homestead was exactly as described but better and a real blessing to our family - comfortable, serene, quiet, and so peaceful. (The only negative is the single bathroom upstairs, but it was fine for just the 3 of us adults.) We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Lynda's cabin. It's right on Matanzas Beach, minutes from Havana. The pictures don't do it justice! The cabin felt much larger than expected. Lynda has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen and BBQ grill. The views are gorgeous, and sitting on the deck or by the firepit during sunset is not to be missed. There are some great restaurants / bars in Havana, including Babe's, Stag Tap, Lulu's, and Riverside Grill. And of course Peaches for ice cream. Lynda was very helpful & checked on us to make sure we got in & had everything we needed. I would love to stay at the cabin again!

The front outside does not reflect the inside. The inside was adorable! My adult children loved it. We sat on the porches a lot. Sunset was beautiful on the lake. Even had a campfire and roasted smores. Loved the place. The town was small and had a lot of history in it.
