Jane was a wonderful host. Her place was so clean and quaint, felt very safe, and Jane provided such nice amenities and snacks. Checkin was easy peasy and Jane was a delight to chat with. We would definitely stay again!!

A great place that’s easy to find and was even large enough for my entire family. Neighborhood seemed very friendly and was actually quiet. Dayna was ahead every step of the way, with all the information we needed, including recommendations on great local attractions and restaurants.

The house was just as listed. It actually looked better than the pictures. We came into town for the Naval Boot Camp graduation. This house is FAR from there. 1+ hours away, all toll road. But the listings in the city were smaller and had fewer bathrooms. This house has 2.5 baths. We enjoyed our stay but there were a few things that could be improved. For a 1 week stay with 3 adults and 4 children, we had 4 washcloths and not enough towels. The listing said to buy whatever cleaning supplies that weren’t there but I didn’t expect to have to buy a broom. Yes a vacuum is provided but the house is hardwood and the vacuum didn’t pick up well on those floors. Also, be prepared to go shopping on your vacation for paper towels, dishwasher detergent and body wash (If you fly in and didn’t check a bag with your liquids inside). I don’t want to sound dissatisfied, because I was satisfied. But after looking at several listings, I thought those things should have been included.

Miriam's place was fantastic for our family of five—two adults, one tween, one teen, and our bernedoodle! The recently remodeled split-level house was pristine, with a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, and comfortable beds for everyone. There were so many thoughtful touches, including pet essentials (food/water bowls, waste bags, and a towel to wipe our dog’s feet), a fully stocked coffee and tea bar, and extra toiletries in the bathroom (toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup remover, Q-tips, cotton balls, etc.). The home is in a safe neighborhood, conveniently close to restaurants, shopping, and a new water park. It’s a beautiful, welcoming space, and Miriam was a kind and responsive host. Highly recommend!

What a lovely little quiet neighborhood to stay in! The home was perfect for our group of moms and kids horse showing at Lamplight. Anything we needed was responded to so quickly- and much appreciated!

We had an EXCELLENT time at Marianne's home in Batavia. The home was outfitted with everything that we required and then some. The place is even bigger than it appeared in the listings. There were sectional sofas both upstairs and in the basement that we didn't recall from the listing that provided even more sitting room with family. The property is so beautiful. We had such a wonderful time watching the horses play in the pastures directly out the window. Can't recommend these hosts or their property enough! Thanks again for a wonderful home away from home this holiday season.

Absolutely amazing place. If you like Victorian houses, this is for you. Spacious and beautiful with a large kitchen. Gas stove so you can cook and not swear! Easy access to Elgin and the train station. Parking behind the house on the property. It’s cool and comfortable (we went in June) with plenty of fans for air movement.

This is the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in and we’ve been back so many times it feels like coming home. Softest sheets ever! Cute decor. Nicole is a fantastic host and if ever needed responds quickly. But we usually don’t need to contact her because everything is perfect!

We loved staying in this beautiful home. Emma was a gracious, responsive host and the place was immaculate. For us, the location was perfect and we hope to stay here on future visits to Oak Park.

It was a very cozy home! Everything was in great condition. I ended up cooking every night that I was there and found the kitchen to be well stocked and all the appliances worked well. I definitely would stay there again!

Zirrell was a wonderful host. She always responded and her instructions were very thorough. She was also very understanding when our flight got delayed and we checked in later than expected. The apartment was clean and looked just like the pictures. It was a wonderful stay!

When we were first looking for a place to stay, none of the available AirB&Bs looked great. A week later, we looked again, and suddenly Julia's place popped up. It was so much better looking, and with a fairer price, than any others I could find in the list. A two-bedroom that is a *real* two-bedroom, for the price that others were charging for a pull-out bed in the living room. It was just as beautiful in-person. We felt immediately at-home and comfortable. I'm someone who has insomnia, especially while traveling, but there, I had no problem sleeping somehow. Also, it truly is a short walk to the Blue Line, or even a just few steps from the 77 bus route, which goes to the Blue Line, or all the way right into downtown Chicago.

My daughter and I stayed at Izakaya Studio on a recent visit to Chicago. The studio is great and Brett made it so easy to locate everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The next time we stay I hope to spend more time exploring the neighborhood because there were so many restaurants and shops to choose from (lots of open-air patios and decks which would be so nice during the summer season). The walk to the blue line El stop felt safe and quick. We loved the studio's layout. The kitchen and bedroom areas were separate and Brett has two big, comfy chairs for relaxing, and ample island space for eating or using as a work space. My daughter had some virtual work meetings and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for meal prep. We ate out each day, but our delicious breakfast take-out came from a place right up the street called Yolk. I highly recommend the Izakaya Studio for a relaxing and fun visit to Chicago.

My family and I were in town for my nephew's graduation, and Marika's home was truly beautiful, so inviting, and comfortable. She definitely paid attention to details that made the stay even more cozy. Beautiful property, and well appointed! Easy lovely, 10 minute walk to town, also. We look forward to staying there again when in Geneva 😊

The time spent here was wonderful. This place has everything you need to feel at home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area was also really nice with tons of food and drinks within walking distance. The blue line is a short walk away and the busses run on the corner. I would definitely stay here again when coming back to Chicago.

This is a WONDERFUL one bedroom apartment that is both private and spacious! The owner/host has the space fabulously decorated with an eclectic mix of original contemporary artwork and antiques. Nothing is generic about the space and it has been outfitted for guests with loving care. The host, Kaye, clearly puts much trust in her guests with her charming decor and furnishings. The amount of space, the privacy and the home-y feel make it a place we'd love to return to.

The apartment was clean and spatious, better than in the pictures. It's located in a corner of Hyde Park, at a 15 minute walking distance from the University of Chicago. It is a very residential area, with not many shops or restaurants near by, but if you walk 15 minutes east you will find bars, grocery stores and a few restaurants. I came to do research in the library's archive so it was very convenient. I had some problems with the door code sequence, but Erika was very helpful and responsive. My only suggestion is that more detailed information about the check in is provided, because not everbody is familiarized with lockers and codes! But my general impression was very positive! I'd definitely stay there again.
