The cottage has a large terrace and huge garden, there's ample parking space which we used for a BBQ for my local friends. Marie, also knowing these people joined us, a very agreeable evening. The place is very convenient for me when I come down to visit these friends, who are from the UK but lived in France for many years. I can easily walk into the village and enjoy an evening with them without worrying about having a little too much wine. The accommodation is very large, very well equipped, good WIFI, I was able to use my laptop to stay informed and listen to Classic FMM when I wished. All in all a very enjoyable stay and I will be coming down again, circumstances permitting, always an issue for octogenarians.

A warm welcome. A lovely little house where the living is good. Very quiet. Independent of the owner's house. Very well arranged, very clean. Everything for cooking, small barbecue ... in short, we loved our 4 days spent with our hosts.

Very good stay at Murielle's. Murielle is a very attentive and responsive host, she helped us with childcare equipment for our 1 year old son ( including bathtub, changing plan). The place was as described, it's easy to park in the neighborhood, including in high season. The accommodation is not very large but well arranged, the patio is all the more pleasant and is almost an additional room. Angoulin is a very nice village and the square and the main shops are within walking distance. It's also easy to get to the sea by stroller, and there are many bike paths all around. In short, we recommend it!

Still pleasant, very well located in a quiet location. Solène and Romain always present and responsive, I thank them. Great for doing everything there is to do in Châtelaillon and surroundings. This is the second time and I will return. 😉

Very friendly and kind host. I would recommend it and if we return to the area we will return without hesitation. Thank you for your flexibility, which allowed our children to rest a little more and enjoy the games.

We had a lovely stay at Carole's place. The setting is charming and not overlooked, we enjoyed these few days very much. The cabin is tastefully decorated and the terrace is nice. You will find everything you need inside the accommodation (wide choice of dishes, basic foodstuffs, household products, board games, etc.). Only downside is the lack of storage in the room, but it's a detail. The beach is very close (about 5 min walk) and in early June, it was ours! We stayed with a dog and the beach is accessible to them all year round (unsupervised swimming). Carole's enclosed garden is also a real plus for pets. Our host was responsive and friendly, the instructions are easy and clear. This is a very nice place that we will remember for a possible future stay.

A true haven of peace! The house is a little gem nestled in the heart of nature, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the calm. Everything is thought out with taste and simplicity, the space is clean, well-equipped, the outside is very large and beautifully furnished, and the surrounding environment invites you to relax. Roy is a thoughtful, discreet and very responsive host, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. An address to recommend without hesitation for those looking for tranquility, authenticity and a change of scenery in Charente-Maritime!

Philippe and Catherine are very welcoming hosts and attentive to well-being and tranquility. The cottage is suitable for family, we had a bathtub and a crib available. The atmosphere was warm, we would recommend this property!

Super well located accommodation in the area, very quiet 20 minutes from the points of interest of the area. Corine and Patrick are super nice and the service is great! A property to remember. 😁

the tiny house is practical, functional, with everything you need in a fenced and wooded garden, quiet even if at the corner of 2 roads. the car can be parked in the driveway, the beach is nearby and the village on foot is 2 km away... nice stay

This cottage seems new, it is perfectly arranged & equipped, tastefully decorated, like a fisherman's hut. There is a beautiful little garden, it is a peaceful oasis.

Very nice and especially quiet little house. The house is well arranged and equipped. Close to shops, you can do everything on foot. The beach by bike through the forest is great! Sophie is a great host, good tips on restaurants and where to shop. Very good hospitality and very responsive we have known Ronce les Bains for a long time and love to come back from time to time. 1st time at Sophie's... to be repeated!
