Sharon’s place was an easy walk from the metro. She did a great job of communicating. Her kitchen was stocked with the necessities which was helpful. The house was clean and the off street parking was great. It was nice to have the half bath too! Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful apartment that is right next to a bus stop. Fast and easy to get to all of the attractions. Sadé is fast to respond and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

From the moment I arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. This Airbnb was beautiful, sparkling clean and exceptionally well-equipped. Every detail, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful amenities, showed how much care and attention had gone into creating a warm, welcoming space. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed, and the overall ambiance made it feel like a true home away from home. What made the experience even more special was the host. They were caring, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. I can’t recommend it highly enough, and I’m already looking forward to the chance to return.

We had a great stay! The house was spacious enough for our big family, and the area was very nice with a great grocery store nearby. There were plenty of parking spaces, and the owner was friendly and welcoming. I would love to stay here again next time and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with a large family.

It was incredibly easy to Uber around to all the major DC sights from this conveniently located Airbnb, but what truly sets this host apart is their honesty and integrity. After I checked out, I realized I had accidentally left behind a small bag of jewelry. I was worried I’d never see it again. Our host not only found it promptly, but went out of their way to arrange for its safe return. That kind of thoughtfulness and responsibility is rare—and deeply appreciated. The space itself was clean and exactly as described, but the genuine care from the host made this stay truly outstanding. I highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a trustworthy and conscientious host. Thank you again!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. If we are to return, we would most likely look at this house as a first option. The house is very spacious and for there to be 10 of us, we never felt piled on top of each other. the host communicated very well, from the time we booked the reservation up until it was time to check out and we really appreciate that! One main thing I would ask the host to consider is putting FULL BODY mirrors in some rooms (ie. living room/den and master bedroom) it was kind of hard trying to get dressed and make sure I looked well put together without having a full mirror to look into. Also, with all the backyard space, an in ground pool would have been nice but the above ground pool did its job. Overall the stay was about an 8/10

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. We were at a festival at RFK Parks and it was walking distance. The house itself was so big and able to absolutely accommodate all of us and easy to access.

We found Southern hospitality in DC! The location was incredibly convenient, and the space was thoughtfully equipped with everything to make us feel right at home. Our stay was clean, comfortable, and hassle-free — exactly what we hoped for. We definitely recommend staying here!

Farrah’s apartment is perfect for a stay in DC. Comfortable bed, nice shower, everything you need in a kitchenette. A quick drive to many good restaurants in Silver Springs and easy access to downtown DC. Feels like home.

My wife and I stayed here for several nights in June 2025, and recommend it without qualification. This is a beautiful private entrance apartment with a very large bedroom, well appointed living quarters, and 1 ½ baths. The location can’t be beat. It is in a very quiet neighborhood -- just a 10 minute walk to the closest Metro train station, and a 20 minute walk to the Capitol. Also just 1 mile from the Amtrak Station [Union Station]. Our host Sherry was a pleasure to meet and talk to, and she clearly enjoys taking care of her guests and making sure they have everything they need to be comfortable. In that regard there was nothing left for her to do, because pretty much anything that you might need while you are there is already available to you in the apartment. If you go, be sure to take a walk to see Eastern Market, which is also where the closest Metro train station is. We look forward to staying at the Inn on Capitol Hill again on any return trip to Washington.

Corbin’s place was exactly what we needed. We attended a music festival at the Festival Grounds at RFK and it was such a short and safe walk! It was clean and a great size for 2 people. We did have a small issue with the lock code but Corbin responded quickly with a solution! Also off street parking is a big plus!

This place was in a great location! One block from the metro and a nice bar/restaurant called Bullfeathers very close by. We would stay here again. The only addition I would ask John to consider is to add a small cutting board to the kitchen. John was a great host as he left us a wide assortment of snacks, answered our questions quickly and he left us detailed information with a map to help us even more. Thanks John we had a great time!

Katherine and Shelby’s place was just as good if not better than described. My kids and I had an awesome with absolutely no issues. Everything was nice and neat. The property was spacious and accommodating for me and my 2 kids. Will definitely be back when needed. Thank you Katherine and Shelby for an awesome experience.

Had a great stay. Rebecca is a wonderful host and provided everything we needed including some snacks, breakfast items and plenty of coffee pods. House is in a great location for seeing the DC sights, close to the metro, restaurants, and Safeway. We also enjoyed the complimentary tickets to the O Museum. We highly recommend staying at Rebecca’s place.

Due to the high humidity, the gate was difficult to open. I messaged Michael and he came out of the house immediately and opened it for us. Had the same problem with the door. Had to push on it quite hard to get it to open and slam it to get it to close. When the humidity was lower, there was no problem. Both Melanie and Michael were very responsive and helpful.

Bruce and Vania were incredibly kind and communicative! Me and my friend traveled for a concert at Nationals Park and was able to walk to the venue after checking in and receiving a key, so we were able to avoid all the crazy parking fees and concert traffic. Vania was also kind enough to cook us a beautiful breakfast the next morning, genuinely going above and beyond when it comes to feeling welcomed! They are also located incredibly close to a lot of the Museums and other Tourist locations, so after a smooth check out we got to explore the D.C area! Can’t thank them enough for their hospitality and kindness! 10/10 would stay here again!

Such a beautiful place to stay wish I could have stayed longer! Gary was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Great walking distance from the concert we saw at the Atlantis. Had no issues at all and would definitely love to stay there again in the future!

John's place is so lovely in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood, easy to find and park, just 6 minutes to the Metro and train station by driving, 12-15 minutes to water front and King Street with bunch of restaurants. The bed is super comfortable, and all kinds of snack food in the room. The sweetest part is the peeled and sliced fruit in the refrig…John and Rick are very kind, we must choose here again and strongly recommend to those visit Alexandria.

We stayed in Katherine's place at a very difficult time - we came to DC for our son's heart surgery. We could not have been happier to be staying in such a comfortable, lovely, and truly homey place during this difficult time. The house is very practical, with a perfect lay out (it was my husband and I, our two kids, and our in laws staying at the house, and we had plenty of space). The play room and the variety of toys and books were absolutely amazing for the kids to be happy and entertained at home for hours on end, while my son recuperated from the surgery - the layout is excellent, because you can cook, or relax in the living room, while being able to monitor the kids at all times in the playroom. Katherine was very responsive, flexible and a please sure interact with at all times. The DC summer heat and mosquitos did not allow us to enjoy the backyard as much as we hoped, but in a different weather, the backyard would for sure be wonderful to enjoy.

I knew the area and have family that stays in the same community so it was why I picked the place. There is free breakfast every morning and paid dinners. Zoya communicates very well and is a good person to have a conversation with. I would definitely stay again and I only had breakfast once while I was there and it was an amazing portion and delicious

We had a wonderful stay at the charming Swann House -- great location, very thoughtfully appointed & breakfast was lovely too!
