What a magical place! Staying off the grid, with fantastic views around. Feels like traveling back in time as lots of history there! We spend 3 nights there with lots of hiking and simply chilling. Great spot for fishing where the bay meets open sea. Caught couple of fish every day. Thanks for these wonderful holidays! Martins

What can we say. Billy was an exceptional host. He was kind and helpful. The spot is beautifully situated in Oban. The morning breakfasts with red squirrels and the visits from the deer added to the memories. Everything you could have thought of was there! Highly rate and will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again!

This is an amazing house with a wonderful view of the Sound of Mull. Everything felt incredibly homely. One of the best Airbnbs you can find with wonderful views of the Siubd of Mull. Very tastefully done. Loved the open plan kitchen and sitting area and the warm underfloor heating welcomed us on our return from beautiful but sometimes wet and windy walks. We can’t thank you enough for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement. Tout était propre à notre arrivée. Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement et le calme des lieux, loin des bruits de la ville. Il est proche de la ville d'Oban pour faire les courses et des activités. Nous avons aimé voir des animaux dans le pré, devant le balcon (lièvres, chevaux et oiseaux). Le lit était très confortable. Le logement etait bien équipé. Jo et Rory ont été très accueillants et soucieux de notre bien-être durant le séjour. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir si nous revenons dans la région.

La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

We were impressed by the photos on the website but the cottage was even more impressive than the pictures suggested. A spotlessly clean cottage, warm and welcoming, with lots of spaces to relax from the comfortable bedroom, spacious lounge, dining kitchen, cosy nook, and porch area at the back of the property. The garden was magical too, and I found myself drawn to wander around it, seeing something new each time. We were VERY lucky with the weather & the lower patio area was a fabulous suntrap! We have a friend who lives on Bute and when we come back we will definitely look to book Hawthorn Cottage. Thank you Rosemary, we had a wonderful stay.

das air bnb war in einer guten lage, die gegend war sehr ruhig wo wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. bei problemen hatten wir sofort einen ansprechpartner, uns hat der aufenthalt gut gefallen. das einzige, was etwas schade war, war dass die wohnung ziemlich dunkel ohne sonnenlicht ist und die eingangstür relativ schwergängig aufgeht. das sind aber keine punkte, die die bewertung großartig beeinflussen.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gestaltet und man kann hervorragend ausspannen. Es hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung und ist für kleiner Freundesgruppen oder Familie optimal geeignet. Die Unterkunft ist ideale auf Islay. Wir würde das Airbnb immer wieder buchen.

We had a lovely stay at Katrina’s, what a wonderful location! Very comfortable apartment, had everything that we needed. Katrina met us and showed us around and shared some wonderful tips for finding the best beaches, restaurants, spotting the seals and pirates!

Booked property for a colleague who has stayed here before. Would recommend.

I absolutely loved my day at Simon's place. The location is stunning, especially with the bay windows looking out to the sea. The little café down the road was wonderful and it was so nice arriving to some local coffee and a packet of shortbread! Simon was very helpful and accommodating, especially when my husband and child decided to join me for the end of my trip. He happily provided more linens, and even let me charge my electric car using his port. He also offered use of his BBQ and left us coals to use while he was away. You couldn't ask for more! The location was perfect for a relaxing day, and lots of beautiful walks. I also managed to get a bit of work done too! I will certainly be booking again, Both for myself and for some family.

We had a lovely stay; apartment was very nice, clean, modern and well equipped. Free on street parking and walking distance into Oban town centre. Scott was very informative, helpful and an excellent host. Would highly recommend, thank you!

Great place for a stopover. Everything to hand.

Blessed with the warmest, sunniest trip to Scotland ever! Having the harbour view made the two flights of stairs well worth it! Saw seals, heron, gannets etc from the window. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, nicely appointed. Central location so everything is within walking distance.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Helensburgh ist ein schöner Ort und nicht weit von Glasgow entfernt. Wir hatten kein warmes Wasser. Charlotte war sofort erreichbar und hat uns unterstützt das Problem zu lösen. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Danke für alles 😊

We had an excellent stay at Cobblerview Apartment! The view was, of course, gorgeous - but the care that Carol & Don took in ensuring our stay was comfortable was greatly appreciated and made our experience especially enjoyable. The apartment is cosy and immediately inviting, with a sizable living room space and dining table positioned next to the window and looking out onto Loch Long. Though the view you have of the loch itself is expansive, we never felt as though we didn’t have enough privacy - aside from this window out onto the water, almost all of the natural light that filters in is through skylights. We never needed for utensils or utilities, Carol & Don provided a full range of crockery, cleaning supplies and towels It’s worth bearing in mind that as this is a waterfront property, the bugs are in abundance around summer and you’ll need to have your spray on if you want to sit out on the balcony this time of year!

Had a great stay at the old loft, was a great location just 5 mins from Campbelltown and a short drive to the golf courses. Accommodation was very clean, beds were extremely comfy and had everything needed for our stay. Jackie was a great host, can't recommend enough.

Fantastic stay at Beata’s place. It was perfect for me and my family of 4 for a couple nights as we used Oban as jumping off point for an early morning excursion from the ferry’s just across the street. Perfect location in center of town and well kept place. Very sweet of her to have a small treat waiting for us in the kitchen. Minor cons mentioned by other folks were the low shower water pressure and kind of strange mattress lump (but did not prevent us from getting great sleep). If planning a stay requiring two bedrooms in Oban, I cant imagine a more perfect place to stay.

Extremely accommodating and responsive. Parking was easier than we initially thought. Location fabulous and across the street from Ee-Usk and its sister Italian restaurant Piazza. Get reservations or be at the door before they open and cross your fingers. So worth it. Easy walkability. Easy to get to ferry to other islands. The apartments was pristine, large bathroom and bedrooms. Relaxing in front of bay window overlooking water was so relaxing. Be safe repaired for 88 stairs (not that we counted)

We had such a wonderful stay at Cathy's place. The views of the garden and the Loch are so beautiful, it's a really peaceful place to be - and we were lucky with the weather so could sit outside on the decking and enjoy the evening sun. The place is really clean, the bed is comfy and Cathy is so nice and super responsive - thankyou so much! Also its just great base to explore the local area, Loch lomond etc

It was a lovely little flat in the centre of the village. It is on the main street and very easy to find. A little traffic noise but nothing to worry about. Close to harbour and restaurants. Catherine was a very helpful host. She communicated clearly, so we had no difficulties with the accommodation. The flat was very clean, tastefully furnished and had everything we needed for our short stay We have no hesitation recommending this property. We’d definitely come back.

Great place to stay for exploring the more rural parts of Scotland. Beautiful, unspoiled countryside. the rain we had just enhanced the beauty of the mountains and rivers. The flat had amazing views from the window. it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We would certainly recommend it to friends.
