Cruachan Hideaway, Taynuilt near Oban, mezzanine +

What an incredible place! We were blown away by Tricia’s attention to detail, it honestly had everything you could ever need. The space was immaculate and cozy, and the garden was stunning. We were only there for two nights but came away wishing we’d stayed for longer, I’m sure we’ll be back! One of the best holiday lets we’ve ever stayed at, Tricia is an excellent host!

Avich View

Lynn's place is very quiet and peaceful in beautiful surroundings overlooking the loch, in the middle of nowhere. If you wnat a really peaceful getaway, this is it. It is simple but contains everything you need for a stay. It is very private. I particularly liked watching all the birds on the bird feeder! You do need to either take food or book in for dinner with a pub 25 minutes drive away.

Seashell Cottage

SuzanneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Such a beautiful cottage in a stunning area! We had everything we needed and Seashell Cottage is honestly one of the nicest and most comfortable places I've ever stayed in. Lovely garden too, where we were able to sit when the weather was nice. Some fantastic walks on the doorstep and you are so near the little boat service that goes to Easdale Island. You can walk all the way around the island in about 40mins, a few safe wild swimming spots if you're brave (we weren't...) Annabel was a marvellous host and there are lots of useful suggestions in the cottage of things to do and places to see, some of which we did do, including lunch at Pierhouse, quick trip to Lismore, Oban harbour for fresh seafood, Cruachan Mountain Resort for a bite to eat. You won't struggle for something to see or do, it's an area I will definitely revisit in the future. Thanks so much Annabel! 😊

Cozy Slate Isle Cottage On The Shore- Dog Friendly

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great 4 days at Shore Cottage; it was very peaceful and the surroundings are really beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped, especially for cooking, and the welcome basket was much appreciated! We enjoyed exploring the island; walking to Cullipool and up to the highest point of Luing (very beautiful views of the island and towards Mull), and visiting the Atlantic Centre for coffee, cake or lunch. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing break!

Seal Cabin - A wee piece of Scottish Luxury

HarrietRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a brilliant 4 night stay at Seal Cabin with our dog - so peaceful, cosy and had everything we could possibly wish for. We loved waking up to the views of the beautiful loch everyday (and seal watching!) and it was a perfect location for walking in the local area and driving to visit other areas. Iain and his family were really friendly and gave us some great recommendations around the area. Would highly recommend a stay at Seal Cabin!

The Pier House, Buidhe Island.

AnthonyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Such a joy of a place to stay. A tranquil and private edge of Scotland I've never visited but that blew us away. I was looking for a beautiful spot on the West to celebrate my 40th with friends and option to do water sports. Mark's place fitted the bill... and then some! The place is a bargain for the size, quality and location. The views are simply stunning. Doing kayaking and paddle boarding was straightforward to hire, with helpful instruction for first-timers (me). A real treat. Highly recommended! Thank you very much!

Countryside Farm Pod on Isle of Seil w/ Views

AllisonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fantastic location...close enough to Oban for day trips yet quiet enough for recharging ourselves for the next adventure! The pods were surprisingly sound proof too. Was not woken up by any farm animals or farm activities at all. Our visit was short and next time I would plan a longer stay as the summer season was not yet in full swing and several restaurants and pubs were not open early in the week so plan your meals ahead. Balvicar Stores had plenty of food and produce available for a meal cooked in. As for local restaurants and pubs, we were surprised that many were closed for food early week but you'll be fine if you book later in the week or the weekend and definitely check websites for hours of operation. The Clachan Bridge (bridge over the Atlantic) was amazing and the Tigh An Truish pub with all their history was one reason we came to Seil and the Slate Islands. A must see I feel. Natalie was incredible...always available with quick responses and helpful tips. Thanks so much!
