Located at the foot of the historic Hill of Slane, overlooking Littlewood Forest and the rambling Boyne Valley, on 3 acres of countryside land. The bungalow is self-contained and situated in a private corner of the grounds, next to our own home. Quiet rural area suited to a couple or small family. Children are always welcome but most suited to families as a base as there are no play areas etc. for them here.

Perfectly situated for exploring local attractions, and just 20 minutes from Dublin Airport. We recommend a car as public transportation is limited & slow, and taxis can be costly.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

There were bathroom articles plus towels available, I could make full usage of the kitchen if needed and of course whenever I had a question they'd help me out. Beautiful home and clean and tidy with all facilities working perfectly. We requested for early check-in and had lunch and rest before going into Dublin city. Marie accommodated our request without any hassle. Breakfast was simple continental but enough to set us out for the day. highly recommended

This was a lovely farmhouse quite near Drogheda but "in the country". Quiet, lots of beautiful trees around, a great view from the bedroom, a spacious back patio. Aine was available anytime but it was easy to get in when she wasn't there and she was very helpful with directions.

I had a great stay! The location was excellent - it took only 50 min to get to Dublin city centre by bus, the bus stop was in 2 min walk. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Everything was just as described, and I really appreciated the attention to details. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Virginie’s and Morgan’s place. She and her family were so welcoming to us. We had a really late arrival from the airport, and she was very flexible with our check-in time. She sent out instructions about check-in, and was very communicative throughout the whole time. If you do not have a car it is a bit harder to get around (there is a bus though) but they were so nice and offered to take us to the train station and pick us up from there as well which was so helpful. I am happy to recommend this place to anyone who is needing a place to crash for a quick ride to the airport, and really grateful to our host for being so kind and welcoming. The house is beautiful and the room and bathroom had all that you needed for a relaxing stay. Very clean home and relaxing environment.
