Mt. Washington Gem

EleanorRating, 5 stars1 week ago
As soon as I opened the gate, I knew this place far exceeded my expectations (and they were already high, based on the description and reviews!). The views alone could sell it, but there's so much more--- a big garden full of hummingbirds and honeybees, lizards and squirrels (and even a bunny or two) make it feel like a country house. The interior is beautiful and in keeping with the home's period aesthetics without sacrificing comfort or feeling too precious. The location on Mount Washington lends a feeling of escape from the city, but if you don't mind a (very) steep walk, you can get down to Highland Park pretty easily! Lauren was very responsive and helpful, and I would be delighted to come back to stay in ger beautiful place. Will be dreaming of sitting on that porch with my coffee (or a glass of wine) from now on.

Comfy LBC Paradise bungalow w/AC

EmilyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Such a great stay for my best friend and me! The place was clean, comfy, and easy to find. The host was super accommodating and communication was great. We loved having coffee out back with the sweet kitty, Cali. Friendly neighbors, smooth Instacart and Uber use, and a quick walk to Walgreens made everything super convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Immaculate Cottage in North Glendale near Montrose

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely Charming Stay in Montrose! We had such a wonderful stay at Gillan’s adorable cottage in the Montrose neighborhood near Pasadena. The moment we walked in the cottage, we felt like doing a happy dance. It was cozy, inviting, and immediately felt like home. Everything was spotless and clearly well cared for, with thoughtful touches throughout. The fun, eclectic artwork all around the cottage added personality and made the space feel unique. The location was also perfect for our trip—we were in town for a concert at the Rose Bowl, and the cottage was an ideal home base. Montrose itself is a hidden gem of a neighborhood, full of charming shops and great local restaurants. Gillan was a fantastic host—responsive, friendly, and quick to help when we had a minor issue with the internet. Thanks to her fast support, it was resolved in minutes. We genuinely loved everything about this stay and wouldn't hesitate to book this lovely cottage again. Thanks, Gillan!

Charming Bungalow, A/C, HotTub, Close to Beach

BrinleeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house is very cute and has a very cute front porch to enjoy coffee in the morning. Beautifully landscaped. Enjoyed the hot tub and well stocked kitchen. AC was great and the house is very quiet. Black out shades in all rooms. It is kept up well and was clean. Long Beach isn’t the greatest beach to hang out but we enjoyed seal beach about 15 minutes down the road. Cute coffee shops and shops within walking distance. Overall a great place to stay and space for kids to play.

1BR Treehouse Bungalow

BobbyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Chris is a phenomenal host! So friendly, responsive, and helpful. When you walk onto the front porch you are greeted by an expanse of beautiful windows. Walking into his large open kitchen/living/dining space was incredibly inviting. Every inch of this place is wonderful. I had friends come over from WeHo to join me for some wine, and they commented on how airy and stunning Chris's home was; they were 100% accurate! I felt so at peace here. The private backyard has multiple tiers, all of which are like getting lost in your own private forest! Talk about a beautiful night's sleep (the bedroom has a ton of windows looking out into the private backyard)! The neighborhood is incredibly safe, and the on-street parking was the easiest I have ever seen in the Los Angeles area. Never did I have a problem finding a spot for my rental car right in front of the house (even on the weekend!)! You've got to stay here and experience it for yourself!
