Incredible stay! The rooms were clean and the place was very close to the train line. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Vincent's apartment was lovely. It really was super clean, absolutely no clutter, and the bed was very comfortable. The street was quiet and away from the touristy areas. However, it was just a short walk to the busier areas and the museums, a real plus. The steps up to the apartment were indeed very steep. We mentioned this to our Dutch friends and they said "welcome to Amsterdam"! They are part of every house so we accepted this and got used to them. Vincent's Check In instructions were clear and we had no problems. We had a very memorable stay. Thank you, Vincent.

Tahier was an amazing host and his studio is perfectly appointed, modern and very comfortable. From the shower, to the bed to the little kitchenette it’s all been thoughtfully designed to provide maximum comfort. Tahier himself was warm, responsive and had wonderful suggestions for Amsterdam. I was traveling with my senior mother and not having stairs was a great bonus. We loved Amsterdam and Tahier’s place made all the difference. Walkable to everywhere and quiet despite being in the centre of the bustle.

This apartment is really nice. It has a big oven, soft beds and the cutest little sink in the bathroom. It is within walking distanxe of the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, Her Scheepvaart Museum and the shopping streets (for me walking distance means anything between next door and ca 30 minutes in one direction (it is roughly a 32 minute walk to Het Scheepvaart Museum.)) It was really useful to have access to both a washing maschine and a dryer, which meant we could travel light. The host was friendly and helpful during our stay, checked in through the message function and gave us an extra duvet when we need it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Anouk’s place. It was extremely comfortable for 4 people and had a wonderful living space that felt comfortable and homely. We loved having access to the bikes and despite having inclement weather it was an easy ride to the wonderful Zaanse Schans and the old windmills. Quintessential Amsterdam! The jewel on the crown was when the rain finally stopped, we were able to experience the stunning canal view from the moored boat at the back. Unfortunately the weather hadn’t permitted us to use the boat to explore the other canals but it is definitely something we would love to do on a future visit. Anouk was fabulous at communicating and left comprehensive information for us to make the most of the area. We loved dining at her favourite restaurant and probably made our mark as we were leaving! (Another story!) Ha! We definitely caught the spirit of the place! Could not recommend this highly enough. Thanks for a fabulous stay 🙏🏽❤️

If you're looking for a calm location and a place to truly call home for a few days this is a perfect spot! It was a quick drive to a train with ample parking to get into Amsterdam. Marie Louise was an amazing host, very helpful and kind.

A wonderful stay at Mike's place. The apartment is modern yet somehow quite eclectic. The location is perfect - you fall out to some great places to eat and drink that are all a few minutes walk from the apartment. I would highly recommend it.

This is a superb AirBNB. full of character and incredibly located, adjacent to bus and train station and a short walk into the centre of the city which is beautiful. Haarlem is a real gem of the Netherland, with only 5 euro, 15 minute train to centre of Amsterdam, don't waste your money there. Pieter is a friendly and responsive host and was very helpful in accomodating our luggages prior to check in. Highly recommended !

Henk’s place was perfect for the type of travel we enjoy. It was easily accessible to the bus that quickly brought you to the train station, would have been even easier on bikes. Mornings would double peaceful on the water, watching the bonded Geese and people taking a morning swim, sail and the occasional rowing team. We enjoyed a storm that moved through one evening. The space is precisely as described. Henk gave perfect directions of how to find it from the airport. Even when I was a complete clutz and dropped the house key in the water, he did not panic or give me grief but immediately hired a locksmith to fix the problem before we returned in the afternoon. Very responsive. The overall Noord neighborhood is perfect to escape to from the city but still be plenty close to enjoy anything wanted.

We had a pleasant stay at Astrid's place. It is very clean and we enjoyed the outdoor space. Easy access from the central train station whether by bus (line 391) or by sprinter train. Recommended!

We stayed for 9 nights which gave us time to explore the city well +take some day trips to Haarlem and to the Old Dutch villages-worth the time to do. The location is very walkable to all the museums, a few blocks from the flower market, some excellent restaurants close by - we totally enjoyed Sampurna and Johannes. For local food and drinks, you'll find many choices every direction you walk from this apt. The canals are busy - there's a constant flow of boat traffic during the day but slows down at night. You can hear some outside noise here but not disruptive at all. We had one canal ride-we got to see canals from a different angle + interesting perspective of the city. Highly recommend as we noticed some features of buildings we hadn't noticed when walking. We used the trams and metro sometimes to explore further afield.Frans gave us an insightful tour of Herengracht 401, full of history +thought provoking esp after visit to Anne Frank House and resistance museum. Thank you Frans!

If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. I cannot recommend Markus and her rental enough. We were 4 adults including my 84 year old mom and the place worked so well for us. Fantastic neighborhood with restaurants and shops very close; best of all 5 minute walk to Vondelpark for a stroll, a beer or coffee and a respite from the crazy hustle of Amsterdam. Peaceful and well appointed home that was free of clutter. I only realized this was a family home when Markus told me. Separate places to get space. Downstairs bed for my mom (no stairs). I will recommend to friends and family!

Centrally located and walking distance to the main city centre, the loft is a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. It's surrounded by great restaurants and bars, so you never run out of options. The stairs are a bit of a challenge when it comes to larger suitcases, but the living space is worth the challenge! We'd happily stay again!

We used the AirBnB to do some work, and it was great. Especially to go outside and look at the horses in the surrounding fields. Although it was on Sandra's terrain, it felt very private. Thank you for hosting us!

The space is amazing with natural sunlight coming into the living room area. It is definitely big enough for 2 or 3 people. The kitchen has all the basics that are necessary for basic meals.

It is a beautiful accommodation overlooking the lake. The accommodation is small but it offers everything you need and we felt very comfortable from the first moment. There is also a parking lot directly opposite and very good restaurants and shopping nearby. It was a dream to wake up every day overlooking the lake. If the weather cooperates, you can also swim there. Will definitely be back :)

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

Arrive and feel comfortable: warm welcome, short briefing and tips. Private retreat with nice terrace and small garden at the back out to the water. Surrounded by water, great nature. Individual since you have to take the ferry to get there ( 2 min)- uncomplicated. We used the house as a couple and found everything we need for a nice getaway. Recommended
