“The place was a great experience to stay in a house boat. Host was very nice and met me at the boat to show me around. She had no guests on check out day and gave us the option to leave our bags all day. Good for two young travelers and a 10 minute walk from train station. Not suited for anyone who can’t do steep stairs or anyone who struggles with the size of an airline seat(very narrow walkway to boat. Interesting touches in the boat. There was a rug on the table and a large crucifix. It is difficult to get out of the bed and to turn the light on in the bathroom you must turn the light on for the whole boat. Also the door is a bit old so it takes a minute to line up the lock. Quiet for the area. If you’re looking to just have the experience of a house boat this is solid.”
Our uniquely decorated Koggeschip studio in the heart of historical Amsterdam is the perfect starting point for your city trip
“Super nice apartment in the heart and center of Amsterdam! The apartment really has everything you could want and is just perfect! You can walk to the apartment from the main train station in a few minutes and you are also directly on a canal. The apartment itself is very stylish with attention to detail. In the same street there is still an excellent Italian on the corner. The host was super friendly and very reliable. A clear recommendation!”
Ideal, 592 sq ft apartment. It has 2 double bedrooms for get-aways with family or friends, a living-dining room, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.
“The property was very clean. You felt right at home. Towels were provided more than enough. In the bathroom you could use your own shower gel. A hair dryer was also available. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking. Oven, a small dishwasher, refrigerator with a small ice compartment and a stove with 2 hobs. The living-dining area was equipped with a table and 4 chairs and a couch with a TV. The separate bedrooms were separated from the living-dining area by a sliding door. The beds were very comfortable. The bedrooms could be completely darkened by a blackout blind. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come again.”
