Sarah was an amazing host. She was responsive, kind and welcoming. Shr would check in from time to time and make sure everything was going ok. The place was great. Very cozy and comfortable. As a remote worker, the internet was very fast. No problems conducting meetings. Definitely good for long term stays. Nearby park was excellent to take long walks in the forest, playing sports, or having a picnic. Highly recommended.

Great place - quiet, clean, and spacious. Check in and out was very easy. I would definitely choose to stay again.

I couldn’t have been more excited when I saw this property. From the moment I walked in,it felt like Home! There were fresh flowers and a welcome note on the counter, which was really sweet. The host , Mary Ellen did a fantastic job on the renovations and styling the home. You can tell that she put a lot of thought and effort to create a great experience for her guests. The place was very clean and stocked with everything a guest could need. Including an organized kitchen with plenty of storage, cleaning supplies, nice sheets and towels and comfy beds. There is even all the necessary products in the bath/shower. What I really appreciated the most was the fenced in backyard, which was perfect for my Golden Retrievers. Since I’m not from the area, Mary Ellen was very helpful to share her suggestions on places and things to see. I’m so grateful to have found a true “ Home away from Home”. I would strongly recommend that if you are in the Lynchburg area, you should contact Mary Ellen.
