Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Amherst County

Wow, this gorgeous home was absolutely perfect in every way. Our family of 5 had the BEST time; hiking during the day, exploring farm stands, ciders, star gazing and just resting in the most peaceful, beautiful place. Our week went so fast we didn't want to leave (!!)--this home is so well designed, gorgeous open windows with unbelievable views all around, comfortables beds and bedrooms, super clean (!!) and just magical. We can't wait to come back!

Kelsey’s place was exactly as advertised!! Super clean. Well stocked. Very comfortable. The hot tub and fire pit were awesome. The screen porch was great for morning coffee and watching the deer. We would recommend to everyone and hope to return next year.

The house was easy to find, plenty of space, the swing chair on the porch is cute, my kids spent a lot of time there

Our family of seven spent two nights here to have family Thanksgiving, The drive to the house is very beautiful with mountains in the distance. The house was very spacious and clean. The integrity of the farm house itself is very warm, with many of the original floors and woodwork. The game room in the basement is a plus. Morning walks down by the creek give you an opportunity to be connected to nature. Very special visit and most definitely would recommend this charming home to others. Thank you Shantina for such a great adventure!

The property was perfect - clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. It’s in a quiet, peaceful area with incredible views. The sauna and hot tub were great additions - including the Turkish towels. Kitchen had everything you would need for preparing meals. We loved the fire pit and outdoor furniture and the kids enjoyed playing in the yard. The hosts were responsive and communicated quickly and easily. Just a short drive to Liberty University. We didn’t want to leave and wished the weekend could go on! An enjoyable weekend away from Pittsburgh for some much-needed peace and quiet. Hope to be back!

We traveled from NY for a quick weekend wedding with my in-laws and kids. Right from the first inquiry Jesse was very responsive with any questions I had. The house is very close to everything you could need during your stay. Everyone was very happy with their rooms, and said they slept great and the beds were comfortable. After such a long drive the hot tub was definitely a plus to relax before bed that first night! This is such a cute house, and the hosts were fantastic. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here you won’t be disappointed.

The home is lovely. The kitchen is well-appointed for making meals at home. The living room is comfortable and well-suited for hanging out. We enjoyed both the hot tub and the pool and the wooded area around the home, gave us the opportunity to see deer and other forms of wildlife. The area is quiet and we felt totally relaxed being at the house. There’s plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. Shawana Lynn and her husband are consummate hosts. They left snack and toiletry baskets, which we found to be very thoughtful and handy since we had forgotten our body wash. They provide plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows so guests can customize their comfort levels. Any issues that came up when we were there were quickly and graciously addressed. The amenities are perfect for a relaxing stay in the mountains. We also really enjoyed the location. It’s a beautiful area with hikes, nature drives, wineries and breweries. We had a blast here and we would totally stay again.

We loved our stay here! Upon arrival we were met with a perfectly clean place alongside free snacks and other amenities. The unique style of the cabin by itself made it a fun stay but combined with how well kept Gretchen had the place and all the fun things to do in the cabin made it an outstanding stay.

We were looking for a cabin, hoping to find a quiet place to rest, relax and recharge in nature. We never dreamed that we would find an authentic 18th century cabin located in the forest on a mountain top - with an excellent view of the surrounding mountains. The inside of the cabin was beautifully furnished as would be expected in colonial Virginia. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the experience of stepping back in time.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to just sit and relax for a few days. This property was exactly what we were looking for. We also got to enjoy watching several deer come in on the front grass area. Added bonus. Someone mentioned Woodruf’s Cafe and Pie Shop. We are so glad we stopped in there. We would stay here again.

Great place to stay. Very private and quiet. Meticulously maintained and everything was thought of from coffee selection to the extras. WiFi fast. Might have been me but would have like to be able to log into my own Netflix account. Everything you need was there. GPS go us there but the sharp right turn at the end is not the right way. Go left instead. I can’t say enough good things about this place and Delores. Already looking for time to come back. Would love for it to be small pet(<20lbs) friendly!! Thank you Delores. Well worth the price!!

Place was as described very private and secluded. We really enjoyed it, we came with the dog the one thing to note it is in the woods so there were a lot of ticks but other than that it was very pleasant stay.
