Our beautiful vacation home is located in the old village near Amerongen Castle. Ideal for hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists and mountain bikers! It is a detached cottage, in the style of the tobacco barns from the area, with a private entrance, lovely bed, kitchen, luxurious NEW bathroom with rain shower and cozy veranda (with wood stove!) and views of the greenery of our backyard. Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guest house "De Hooischuur". As soon as you enter the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. And that is exactly the feeling we would like to give you. Our characteristic hay barn in 2018 is equipped with many comforts and gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The cottage has a unique atmosphere, created with materials from old times. It is in the back of our yard, overlooks the meadows, the forest and the dike. In the summer, the cows graze from the adjacent farm in the meadow, the ducks and meats swim in the ditch. You regularly see a stork or a deer! With the sound of the cuckoo, the kievit or the owl, you will experience the nature very close! From the conservatory or from the large garden, you can see the sun rise in the morning.
