Monthly Rentals in Alton

Stayed here during the national Willa Cather Center Spring Conference and enjoyed the close proximity to Red Cloud and other historic sites. The house itself was extremely clean and well stocked. I especially appreciated that we had an abundance of bath towels (more than any other rental I e ever stayed in—and nice quality! 👏🏻) Check-in was easy, and instructions were as described. Thanks for a great stay!

We were excited to find a place to stay so near the lake. We are also porch-sitting people and we enjoyed the covered porch which is wide enough to accommodate chairs along with the picnic table. The available variety of bathroom washes were highly appreciated as was the available grill. Most of the beds are quite firm with a variety of pillows. A small fan was also in each bedroom which was a nice bonus. We plan to return in the future.

Nice place, great stay for our hunting trip. Would highly recommend.

Linda was absolutely amazing to work with. We came in to attend my nieces wedding, and we had to smoke all the food prior. Linda was able to let us check in early, so friendly and kind AND delicious cinnamon rolls left for us!! Thank you for everything, it was so peaceful and I look forward to staying again when we come back out to visit my niece and her family. Next trip will be for enjoyment and not so much work!! Thank you for everything!!
