Located in heart of Shawnee National Forest, Bald Knob Wilderness and River To River Trail , is a former orchard turned cozy hiker/biker haven. Just 2 miles down the road from Bald Knob Cross of Peace. This studio style cabin was recently renovated and has a fully functioning kitchen. Bald Knob Cabin is the ideal location to unplug and put your feet up after a long day hiking trails or traveling the Shawnee Wine Trail that flows through the cozy, inviting town of Alto Pass.

A private retreat space, Eva’s Roost is located at Center For Lost Arts near Cobden, Illinois. Uniquely crafted rustic, zen-style cottage, designed to be close to the earth & nature. Extensive, curtainless windows facing the forest & pond allow for private views: sunrise, moonrise, forest & wildlife. Yoga mat, guitar & some art supplies. Personal outdoor space with firepit & comfy adirondack chairs. Entrance to wandering trails right outside your back door.

Cabin on the Wine Trail!

This cabin is in the village of Alto Pass, in the Shawnee National Forest and along the Southern IL wine trail. Adjacent to a Victorian home, it is a separate cottage, renovated in 2017-18, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, washer/dryer, fully-equipped kitchen, dining/living area, TV (Amazon/wifi), and deck with views of woods and valley. (The couch's foot rests work by plugging in the couch and are in good working condition.)
