Vacation rentals with lake access in Altamonte Springs

Caitlin was incredibly responsive whenever we had a question about anything. The house was incredible, they took so much time and money making all the amenities and details first class. Everything was explained in easy to read pamphlets that described everything. The game room was a big hit, and of course the bbq and pool area, and my family absolutely loved it. Everyone was raving at how nice a place the house was. I highly recommend staying here if you can, I would definitely rent again if we’re ever back in the area.

Best location to us, since we spent most of time in State Parks and wetlands nearby. Also super convenient when we need to go to downtown. Felt right at home with this beautiful and nicely setup house. Best water pressure and best beds/bedding at Airbnb. The house is so comfortable that we even spent a lot of time working, reading, and chilling at home. Really missed reading at the sofa near the window looking out at the most frequent visitor Great Blue Heron at the lake. Very quiet and peaceful yet so convenient to everything. Our host Valerie and Rinoah are super friendly and responsive. We appreciated their hospitality and keeping this place so beautiful and comfy. Would love to be back anytime we are nearby!

The location is absolutely amazing for Disney world. apartment was exactly as described and was so spacious and presentable. felt like a lovely modern home! could not recommend enough

I cannot say enough good things about Raymond & our stay. I travel a lot for my son’s lacrosse team & this was our favorite Airbnb so far! Raymond is very responsive & kind! I hope it’s available to book next year when we return.

Second time staying at The Shed and we LOVE IT!! The location is beautiful and only a 15 min walk into town. Also good bus routes for those who don't drive and train too! Locals are friendly and say hello. The Shed is fully equipped for all you need...the kitchen is lovely, we also used the 'slow cooker/crockpot' to make meals in while being out in daytime it was a nice touch to have that! I spent mornings reading on the porch with breakfast and coffee, the coffee maker is great, & having a kettle too! Comfy bed, only thing i would add is maybe an extra shelf in the shower to put more toiletry items? The reading room was so comfy for a chill out read..chaise lounge fell asleep on once lol. Outside space was lovely with a fire pit and BBQ. I would prefer to have a clothes drier/airer for outside drying of clothes rather than tumble drying but that's just me being from the UK, like to hang washing out in the sun to dry. Chris was a great host and always responsive to any messages. xx

First time in Orlando. It was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

We had an absolute blast staying at this Airbnb in Orlando! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly friendly and responsive, offering great local tips and making sure we felt right at home. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels, drinks, and clear instructions for everything in the house. James and Fabiene were the BEST! We 100% will be back, and highly recommend!

Laura was great, very responsive to our messages and dealt with everything promptly. The villa was lovely, really clean and well presented, just as expected from the photos. We had quiet of bugs in the master bath tub, Laura assured us this is due to the season and being by the lake however, very quickly organised someone to come out and spray them the next morning and we had no more bugs the rest of our 2 weeks stay!! The pool was lovely, the kids absolutely loved it. There were already inflatables there for the pool which was a lovely touch. The only downside was the distance from the villa to Disney and universal. On average, it would take 45 minutes to get to Disney factoring in traffic. To get home late at night we would average 35 minutes with light to little traffic. Universal was averaging 1 hour to get there in the morning and about 45 minutes home at night. This meant we couldn’t “pop back to the pool” in the afternoon heat as would take 1.5-2hours of the afternoon.

Cheryl and her husband are the most kind and genuine people! Everything was perfect, the unit was extremely clean upon arrival and stocked up! We got to enjoy the kayaks and beautiful sunsets, there were a ton of fish to catch too! I will definitely be returning! Thank you again!!

Very nice Airbnb but sadly the hot tube does not work but other then dad very great place

Great place to stay!! We stayed here and went to universal and it is so close to the property!!!! A little less than 10 minutes drive and didn’t have to pay an outrageous price! When we come back we definitely plan on staying here!

That was exactly the stay I was hoping for. peace and quiet, the house is right by the beautiful lake. you have the amazing lake view from the outside balcony but also right from the living room! it's just amazing. Amazing wildlife right outside. Beautiful birds. The house was clean and comfortable, it was welcoming and had everything I needed. It's really a place where you can relax and find peace. The town is also very nice with restaurants and shops. The walk around the lake Ariana at sunset was spectacular (took about 2 - 2.5 hours). Joni was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back!

This place was outstanding. I loved the community and all it had to offer. The community is quiet and the people are super nice. The pool area made you feel like you were at the pool of someone rich. It had a grilling area, with mini fridges, flat screen tv’s, bar area, pool table, racket ball area and plenty of pool side chairs, with a nice fitness room. Everyone who lives in the community has open access to this area. There’s a 7-11 within walking distance. The apartment had a screened in patio area, which I fell in love with. The bathroom was large enough for multiple people to move around. Bedroom was nice and cozy, with the most comfortable bed. I loved it had a full size washer and dryer with detergent provided by the host ♥️. The living room sofa was also cozy to the point we didn’t mind sleeping in there also, it was a hard choice lol. Loved the kitchen with the bar stools. All the appliances were easy to use. What can I say, I loved this whole place.

I had a wonderful stay here with my boyfriend. It’s a bit secluded which I saw some people complain about in reviews but what they fail to mention is that the hosts’ house is is around 200 feet away and there’s a second airbnb directly next to this one. It’s along a dirt road, yes, but there are still other people in the area. The lake and land are beautiful and there are some chairs and a table on the porch of the cottage where you can sit and enjoy the sunrise. Check in was easy, quick, and required no face-to-face social interaction (something I enjoy not needing to do). The AC works well and is quick to respond to your inputs. The bed is comfortable and there is a very roomy closet that you can keep your luggage in. You can walk straight to the watersports complex right out the door of the cottage. This stay was extremely affordable and I am so lucky that I found it and was able to snag a few nights! I enjoyed my stay so much, and so did my boyfriend. Highly recommend!

This place was spectacular. Sometimes with an air b and b experience, you hope the place is as pleasant as the pictures. This was such a wonderful surprise. Immediately it felt cozy and peaceful, surrounded by nature, wood and botanical details everywhere. But it surpassed that - Every detail of this place had been touched with diligent character, you immediately recognized the owners of this place genuinely cared down to the last morsel of decorations, plates, games and books. Nothing was forgotten. I HIGHLY recommend paying for the extra amenities which made our stay incredible; we booked an extra day just to relax and absorb the relaxation. It was one of the best parts of my trip to Orlando. I cannot speak highly enough about this place, I feel like we’ve found a rare gem in the business of air b and b’s. I cannot wait to book our next stay. This place made you fall in love with Orlando and treating yourself to a hidden oasis away from the modern rat race. INCREDIBLE!

We have a lovely stay at the blues bee cottage. Love the decoration!!! Very cozy and warming. It has everything you need and more. Looks exactly as the pictures. Very close to the light house and parks. Excellent communication with the host.

Lovely home in a friendly neighborhood and close to so many attractions. Kenneth was friendly and very welcoming and responsive to my questions.

“Peaceful” Bernadette place is perfect to unwind. Especially if you like to fish, it’s within steps from the cottage with its own private deck that’s surrounded by big Cypress Trees that provide lots of shade while you fish or just want to kick your shoes off and relax. The cottage was super cozy and clean the perfect setup to relax from every day busyness. Will definitely come back!

Lovely, lovely stay. My favorite part was the big screened porch overlooking the lake! Serene and peaceful. House had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable.
