The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

This 80 m2 beautiful apartment is located in an oasis, in the middle of agricultural land, with rich bird and animal life. When the sun goes down, there is ample opportunity to study the night sky. Also close to Djursland's many attractions, as well as Mols Bjerge, and the many hiking trails. 3 km to basic shopping and 8 km to a larger selection. Bright and newly renovated 24 sqm apartment in a quiet area with a view over Grenaa town. It is a 7-minute walk to the center of Grenaa. The tea kitchen can be used for light dishes. The apartment is connected to our house, which has its own entrance to the apartment and its own bathroom. The distance to Grenaa beach is 5.8 km, Djurs Sommerland is only 22 km away from Grenaa.
