Family-friendly vacation rentals in Allen County

Everything about this home was wonderful. The home was very clean, decorated nicely, has a great kitchen.The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. I would recommend an AWD/4X4 to get up to the house though. It's situated on a beautiful, well manicured property that's in a very nice neighborhood. The fire pit is awesome and there is plenty of room for people to gather. We really enjoyed watching the fireflies as we relaxed in the hot tub every evening. That was definitely a highlight for us. Turns out we have the same bed frame as the master bedroom and also have a sign that says gather much like the one in the home. A few little things that made us feel like we were in the right place. We enjoyed going to the Cheekwood botanical gardens and museum, kayaking on a beautiful lake at Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort, and enjoying coming back to our country retreat to relax and cook some great meals. Johnny is a very responsive host and was very helpful. We would definitely stay again

I stayed with a group of 4 songwriters, and we had plenty of beds to sleep in and plenty of room to create music. Beds were cozy. Front porch was nice. Lots of peace and quiet out there. I loved it.

Our oldest daughter moved to that area. We have a large family. Finding a home that fits all of us, and in our budget is difficult. This home was perfect. The family has named it the one we will always stay in when we visit our daughter. We look forward to staying again soon.

This place was amazing. We had such a wonderful time with our two dogs. The cabin was easy to find and check in was easy as well. It was very clean and we had such an awesome stay. Will definitely be coming back!

A wonderful peaceful place to stay just south of the Kentucky border surrounded by fields of corn and wheat. Great coffee machine and nice and spacious.

There aren't enough words to explain just how much we loved it here. The space itself was very charming. We loved hanging out on the back porch and the bridge. The party room was so neat with all kinds of trinkets to look at. The property was out of this world. Lots of trails to walk or golf cart on and cool wildlife and bird watching. Barbara was so friendly and we really enjoyed talking with her and meeting Iona the dog and the horses too. This place is peaceful, so if you're looking to relax you've found it.

everything was extremely easy feom the initial reservation until the end of our stay. During our stay we had a very small issue, messaged Kevin and he responded immediately, issue resolved in less than 3 minutes. Everything was as pictured in the listing and he gave clear directions. Highly recommend and if we ever go back to Bowling Green we will definitely try to stay here again.

My kids are going to be talking about feeding baby cows for a long time. We LOVED being able to look out at the cows right when we woke up and right before bed and Jorge was so kind, knowledge, and friendly. My kids loved learning from him. The apartment was very clean. It was totally worth the longer drive to the caves to have such a wonderful home base. Thank you for the cheese samples and for opening the cheese shop for us!

We loved our stay! Feeding the baby cows and being able to see the robotic milking process was a great experience! We bought so many great cheeses and look forward to having many charcuterie boards. The location is perfect for checking out caves, as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our two year anniversary.

We had an amazing stay at Mattingly Farm! Being close to the cows and visiting during a few calf births made our visit unforgettable. The warm welcome from the couple who told us about the farm and Kenny’s Cheese Shop, along with the friendly farmhand and his daughter, added to the charm. The milk and cheese samples were a nice touch! The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and bath supplies met our needs. While the WiFi was a bit spotty and we didn’t have AT&T service, it gave us a chance to unplug. Faster and more reliable WiFi would be a helpful improvement for those who need to stay connected. Since it’s a working farm, there were occasional equipment noises, but it added to the authentic experience and didn't bother us at all. A small suggestion: more comfortable seating and sturdier kitchen furniture would make the space even better for relaxing or working. Overall, our stay was delightful, and we highly recommend Mattingly Farm for a unique, welcoming, and memorable getaway!

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for our 2nd anniversary and loved it!! It’s a 30 minute drive to Nashville, but such a private and relaxing location! Michelle was very responsive and friendly. The air bnb was super clean! Would definitely come back again.
