Vacation rentals with a patio in Alentejo

Sehr modernes, wunderschönes und vor allem sauberes Apartment. Hier wurde sich in jeglicher Hinsicht Gedanken gemacht, sei es die Inneneinrichtung oder auch der Umstand, dass die Wohnung bei unserer Ankunft bereits gekühlt war. Die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Stadt und die Marina war ein absolutes Highlight. Sowohl die Altstadt als auch der Bahnhof sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Der Kontakt war außerordentlich zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können den Aufenthalt bei Fabio jedem ans Herz legen!

Een mooi appartement in een rustige buurt maar toch centraal tussen de verschillende bezienswaardigheden. Zeker een aanrader.

Joana’s home is the perfect location to explore Lisbon. It is very close to a lot of shopping and tourist attractions. There are tons of restaurants options available within close proximity. I would love to stay in Joana’s home again when I come back to Lisbon.

Perhaps the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It was exactly what I needed after exploring the big cities. The property was exactly like the listing - if not more. It was in a quiet residential area but still walkable to the town center (less than 10mins). I LOVED the balconies, there’s 2 private balconies and both incredible. One has a sun lounge, and the other with a beautiful sea view. I watched the sunrise from that balcony one morning. It was surreal. I will definitely come back to Portugal just to stay at this Airbnb. Everything has well thought out, even little things like the outdoor washing machine and clothes drying rack for guests use. I would 10000% recommend this place.

Hartstikke fijn verblijf. We hebben ontzettend genoten. De ruimte is ruim en zeer centraal gelegen. De woning heeft alles ook qua bestek, lekkeren koffie etc. Enige minpunt; het putje in de douche werkte niet naar behoren.

Je recommande cet appartement pour ceux et celles qui cherchent une auberge dans un très beau quartier pas bruyant. Proche du centre, à 5-6 euros en taxi) L’appartement est conforme à la description. Propre et soigné. Une belle terrasse offre une vue magnifique sur la rivière et le quartier. Nous avons tout apprécié, pas de bémol, donc à recommander.

Ce logement est parfait! Il est joli, bien décoré, il sent bon et il est très bien situé au cœur de l’Alfama. En prime, la petite terrasse partagée nous a beaucoup plu. Nous y avons passé quatre nuits et avons profité du quartier, de ses festivités et de la ville en general. Nous avons voyagé au début juin et le quartier est tres animé le soir avec de la musique et beaucoup de monde dans les rues. Idéalement il faut voyager avec un bagage léger car l’appartement n’est pas accessible directement en transport, il faut donc marcher un peu, c’est à dire monter ou descendre quelques escaliers pavés pour l’atteindre. Joana fourni d’excellentes directives pour se rendre. Je retournerais dans ce logement et je n’hésiterais pas à le recommander!

Located in an old city area very close to the #18 Tram stop, city bus stop, restaurants, pastry shop and market. City street parking is free and we always found a spot within 100m. We felt like locals while walking the neighborhood. One note - google maps puts you at the intersection but the yellow apartment building was not apparent. I emailed the host and she greeted me from a second story window.

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

Espaço bonito, rodeado pela natureza, casinha rústica com ótimas condições, anfitriões muito simpáticos e sempre prestáveis, fizeram-nos sentir em casa. Não poderia deixar de mencionar o simpático Nougat, o amistoso cão da quinta, e o burrito Serafim. Local muito sossegado, permite relaxar. Recomendo vivamente.

It was our best experience with Airbnb by far. Everything was just perfect: amazing views, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, powerful shower, comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the sound and smell of the sea felt like the best feeling in the world! The host was super responsive, helpful and provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. Thank you!!!

As others have said the hosts were excellent. We immediately felt at home and were welcomed with a jug of homemade lemonade and fruit. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean and we found it refreshingly cool in the hot Alentejo summer without the need to use the aircon. It's a short drive to Évora which is a lovely city with some excellent restaurants. All in all this was one of our best stays in an AirBnB.

Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.

It was a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, in the middle of nature with an amazing an view. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was cozy and the smell of the fruit trees was great not to mention the pool ! Would recommend very much but beware that the climb to the house is nothing for big vans ! Hidden gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mónica and Carlo’s place! We were so close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There was so much to do within a few minutes walk. The house was even better than the pictures and Monica and Carlo’s reached out throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, great house and hosts. Would love to come back again!

Coup de coeur du séjour, appartement tres propre, une super belle terrasse avec vue sur l'océan. La plage est de l'autre coté de la rue, je vous le recommande vivement

La localisation de l’unité, la tranquillité et la propreté des lieux étaient excellentes ! La configuration de l’unité permettait à tous les membres de notre famille d’avoir leur espace de tranquillité. La terrasse couverte était un gros plus et nous permettait de pouvoir manger à l’extérieur sans être constamment au soleil. Une très belle plage se situe à moins de 5 min en voiture et la route est très bien faite pour celles et ceux qui aimeraient s’y rendre à vélo. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir :)

The accommodation, hosts, and location were all like a dream—filled with love and beauty. The owners were incredibly kind and caring, always helpful while also respecting our privacy. Our whole family enjoyed every moment, from watching the golfers to driving through the orange groves, and having fun on the trampoline and in the pool. Everything was top-notch. If I had to search for a negative (and I really had to think hard to find one), it would be just the occasional thought of whether a golfer's ball might come flying our way! 😂

This is a lovely well equipped 2 bed apartment in the Bairro do Rosario suburb of Cascais. Communication with the host was excellent and the garden and pool area are a real bonus. It is a 15 min walk to de Inferno and a good 35 min walk into the centre of Cascais. However there are bus stops close by to the apartment which have regular timetables. There are a number of lovely restaurants close by at Casa de Guia, and the Ophelia cafe on the next street is lovely for breakfast whilst the sacolinha bakery at the end of the street is excellent. The small supermarket at the end of the street is good for small amounts, the large Pingo Doce 5 mins walk away has a much larger selection. A very relaxing stay

Great host and apartment! The location is good and there are many nice restaurants and supermarket around the area. Will definitely come back again in our next visit in Lisbon.

Magnifique et à distance de marche du vieux Lagos. Bel appartement tout équipé. À 350 m de la marina et très près de la plage!! La terrasse est ensoleillée une majeure partie de la journée.

The apartment is in a good location, walkable to the old town, the marina and the beach. The apartment was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, hosts friendly and responsive .

My husband and I enjoyed three marvelous days at this incredible home in Carvoeiro and the welcome bottle of wine and water was so thoughtful! Willem and Laura were extremely responsive with all correspondence. The apartment is clean, contemporary, comfortable bed, nicely furnished and the views are fantastic!! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare daily breakfast and we appreciated the starter coffee pods. We really enjoyed kayaking to Benegil Cave; fabulous meals at The Garden and Levels; and overall charm of the special town. Thank you Willem and Laura! We highly recommend this rental and would love to visit again!
