Vacation rentals with breakfast in Alentejo

Stunningly beautiful, well equipped and lovingly appointed apartment in the quiet and characterful heart of the old town of Mertola. Wonderfully peaceful. Lots of space and a very kind and helpful host. I could not recommend this place more. An absolute joy.

Olhao is a beautiful town and from Ana's house, everything can be reached in 7, max 15 minutes on foot, making it particularly convenient and interesting. In just 30 minutes by ferry you can get to the islands with white sandy beaches. Ana Isabel made me find wholemeal bread (knowing about my intolerances), coffee, tea and even fresh water in the house. I had such a good time that I will return to Olhao! Thank you very much, Ana Isabel!

We were 12 people who came together (ranging from 3- 89 years old), from across the globe and we all had a wonderful stay. It was perfect. The areas (inside and out) were large enough for us to gather together as a group, and the house was spacious enough that people could retreat to their room or area should they want to break away for some alone time. We cooked big dinners, spent hours in the pool, and played games at night. The grounds were private, filled with beautiful bougainvillea, geraniums, and hibiscus plants. There is plenty of sun and shade (outside) and ACs in the bedrooms. I would say the pictures don't do the home justice. The rooms are larger in person. The hosts were readily available to help with finding things in the home or with recommendations for things to do in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay, and can’t wait to be back for a longer period. The guesthouse is charming and peaceful, and Paula is a wonderful host.

Actually, so much has already been written about this great Airbnb. We agree with ALL positive reviews. If you're planning a personalized vacation in the Algarve, book here. It was fantastic. Our life in the almost 2 weeks took place mostly outside. It is so nice to enjoy the first coffee/tea on the roof terrace in the morning or the wine in the evening. Our 2nd favorite place was the courtyard with kitchen counter. We loved having breakfast here and enjoying the affogato in between. We had planned not to cook. However, it was so much fun in this well-equipped kitchen. So there were small dishes or salads in the evening. Restaurants, the small market hall, the local grocery stores and 2 discount stores are within walking distance. We enjoyed Silves very much. There are good opportunities to shop for beautiful things here. Thank you Marta + Levi for the communication + the new dishwasher

Rita was very friendly, you got in touch quickly and the cottage was in a nice place. There was everything available for a few nice days. I would describe the house as perfect for 2 people

Patricia is really friendly host. We felt like at home :-) We had all what we needed and more. The apartment is in good location. It has a lot of space, free private parking. We recommend this appartment for sure:-)

Fantastic stay in Cáceres. The location cannot be beat, the apartment cannot be beat, and the hosts are incredible. Gorgeous, roomy, modern apartment right on the Plaza Mayor, Quick walk to everything, sights and restaurants. Would love to come back and spend more time here.

well what can I say about Katja & Ed's appointment, it is exactly as In pictures & description, amazing welcoming host a d Katja messaged in the week to see if all was well and if we needed anything, nothing is too much trouble - we had no need to contact them as all was perfect - just minutes walk from beach & fabulous restaurants & supermarket, all in all a wonderful place to stay. We had a wonderful stay at Muidini's place - she was very responsive and helpful from the moment we booked, answering all all of our questions promptly and proactively providing recommendations. The apartment was beautifully furnished and spotless! We had a truly memorable and enjoyable experience!

Grace was responsive and able to meet me when I could arrive at late notice. Any issues were dealt with extremely quick. Location is beautiful, close to Oeiras Parque and Poetas park. The beach is also super close and it was easy to travel to Cascais and Belém too. The apartment is everything that you need to have a comfortable stay, squeaky clean bathroom and kitchen, comfortable bed and sofas. It’s on the ground floor so nice and cool but also very secure, the windows let in a lot of light but also some nice views of the flowers. The shutters made the nights but especially the mornings comfortable and easy to sleep in. There is a small supermarket less than 1 minute walk away to stock up in the kitchen where you can cook but also there are larger supermarkets close by to drive to if you need to. I had a car and I felt like it made the most of the surrounding towns as they are all so beautiful, but you need to be a bit patient with parking there. I loved my stay and will be back soon.

We just loved staying in Helenas flat. It’s situated in a quiet street in a peaceful but interesting area, far from the tourist crowds but with only a 25 minute walk to them. Great communications with buses and trams round the corner and trains to Cascais 15 minutes away. The flat is small but perfect for two people. The kitchen is fully equipped and Helena is kind enough to provide the basics for breakfast. I would certainly choose to stay here again. Thank you Helena!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is really nice and chic and has everything you need. The mattress is especially comfortable. The host is very helpful and kind, always responding so quickly. We would definitely stay again and also recommend to friends.

It was my first time visiting Portugal, and this place was the best place to stay in. I visited my friends, and I can’t even compare their places to mine. It was very nice and clean, very helpful and respectful, responsible and proactive. Beautiful place with nice views and pool, also food was good, and I felt like home. Thanks a lot everyone, especially Armie, who was taking care about all needs.

If I could give this place over five stars I would!! Justus and Allison were such welcoming hosts that I felt comfortable and at home right on day one!! Justus gave so many great advice and instructions on how to get places, and interesting things to see which I hadn’t thought of :) Not to mention all the delicious breakfast for two weeks, I felt spoiled everyday. He helped me get my uber for my way to the airport, which I’m very grateful for. They really went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and I felt that way. I’d go back again just because they were so fun to talk to and such lovely people! I had no worries as a female solo traveler, even the area felt comfortable to walk around at late hours. Just be prepared for a few stairs every night, but they weren’t that difficult. I’d recommend this place to everyone, being right by the metro you can explore all of Lisbon easily :)

We had a lovely stay at Mars! The location was perfect and it was a very cute spot. The communal breakfast is wonderful and the place is very homey. Mars was a great host and communicator 😊

We had a wonderful time with Alain and Anne-Marie. The two hosts were very friendly and helpful, and we immediately felt at home. The breakfast was excellent, and the room was equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay at the Algarve. We’d love to come back — thank you, Alain and Anne-Marie!

We stayed just one night, but it left a mark on our hearts. Michel kindly let us check in early without hesitation, and that kindness carried through our stay. We arrived in the afternoon and got back late after dinner, struggling with the gate. Michel, knowing we weren’t in yet, was awake and came out to help us without a hint of frustration. I had mentioned it was my birthday, and the next morning, his sweet wife surprised me with a homemade cake. They served a fresh vegetarian breakfast with organic jams, crisp croissants, and the best orange juice I’ve ever had. Their home is peaceful, with a serene garden, stylish boho room, pool, and secure parking. Before we left late that morning, I invited them to join us while I cut the cake, they sang in Portuguese, and I felt so loved. They host not for money, but for joy. We left feeling so full and already plan to return, next time, we want to take Mr. & Mrs. Michel with us for a one-day outing. 100/10.

Dominique was a super host and helpful with restaurants etc. He drove us to our restaurant outside the town which we had reserved. The b&b was beautifully presented and pristine throughout. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in a most beautiful setting on the terrace. We did not get to meet Caroline who was away during our visit. I had a fantastic stay at Zenit B&B with Rose and Gino. From the moment I arrived, their warm and genuine welcome made me feel at home. The B&B is perfectly located in the heart of Olhão’s old town — close to restaurants and the harbor, yet peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well taken care of, with a nice variety of fruit. Rose and Gino are the heart of Zenit B&B — and you can truly feel that in their hospitality.
