House vacation rentals in Albemarle County

We loved using the pool and the patio/grill area. The view and the landscaping are beautiful. The owner was helpful and responsive; she supplied firewood and charcoal. Plenty of dining space both indoors and out. Good A/C.

We had a PERFECT stay at Pine Lake Lodge for UVA graduation weekend and cannot say enough great things about this lovely country retreat! Pati is a fantastic, friendly host and has decorated the lodge so charmingly that we felt instantly right at home! Like other reviewers, we found both the lodge and property to be much nicer and more spacious than the photos, which was a lovely surprise! We were also thrilled to find it was just over 20 minutes from UVA, and yet a world away from the crowds in town for graduation! The pool was such a delight to return to after several hot hours in town! And the nights cooled down enough to enjoy the lovely outdoor fireplace, as well, which was kindly stacked with firewood and ready to use! From start to finish our stay at Pine Lake Lodge and its host, Pati, exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can’t wait to visit again!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and had a great time. The house was even bigger and cozier than I anticipated and the views were gorgeous. We loved being on the same property as Cardinal Point Winery and walked down to do a tasting/enjoy some bottles. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we could have needed and the pool area was great!

Great , friendly host William Bailey , who shares a 75 mile one of a kind view of the Shenendoah mountains . We stayed in the farmhouse and loved it . Very quiet and relaxing. A dip in the pool. after our 20 mile Blueridge bike ride for ALS . Ended the day with a 20 minute ride to Charlotsvillle for dinner at Millers and some jazz music , and ice cream at local favorite ice cream store "Chaps" . Baileys Retreat has been in his family for 6 gemerations , and the grounds are immaculate. If you like yoga there is a sizable room dedicated to it , but you might prefer taking your mats oitside to the shade of the oak trees. . We are going back soon .They have a 100 year old cabin I want to check out. Regards , Frank Fowler

Angela is a fabulous host, always responsive and helpful. I’d definitely recommend a stay at The Franklin Estate to anyone coming to the Ruckersville area. The spaces are clean and cute and the pool being right outside the door is a big bonus.

Kervin was a fabulous host. we visited the area for my son's graduation and had a great time. The home is beautiful and the surroundings are very peaceful. Exactly what we needed.

Place was great for a little staycation. In a neighborhood that is pretty secluded. Super clean and Ivan was great at communicating throughout our trip! Very antique feel to the house with nice outdoor accommodations. Would stay here again :)

We absolutely LOVED our time at this beautiful farmhouse! Everything about the place is great - it’s comfortable, inviting, and beautifully furnished and decorated. There is such a warm feel to every room, and the grounds and surrounding area are just gorgeous. We flew in from out of state for UVA graduation and arrived after midnight. The host was super accommodating of our late night arrival and made everything so easy for us. She sent all the local info we’d need before our trip. We loved the fun general store just up the road and stopped there for drinks and snacks every day. They have it all from boiled peanuts and fudge to burgers and wine. We also had a great dinner at Dr. Ho’s, the recommended nearby restaurant. I can’t say enough good things about this house and host. Special cheers for the perfect beds/linens - heavenly! Also the sun room - phenomenal space! We spent so much time in there. And that kitchen floor - I want it! We definitely want to come stay again. Thank you!

The house is in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains with peaceful views from the front porch that include a field of lavender and a stream. A forested trail network can be accessed at the far end of the lavender field--so bring your hiking shoes. The house is stunning with clean lines, "european" design and decor that includes high-end appliances and fixtures. Francesca is the ultimate host-very friendly and helpful. She provided all the information and details on the house that you would need for an easy check-in, stay, and check-out. From my initial conversations with her when I booked the house to helpful messages just before and during our stay, I felt like I was staying at the house of an old friend. We look forward to staying at Orso Blu on a future trip!

We loved our stay. We enjoy the backyard and the campfire. We were able to have a restful weekend. David was a great host.

We could not have asked for a better stay at the Vū. The home was as beautiful as the photos and the scenic background made it hard to leave. The house is near several vineyards and popular local spots but is set back from the road and neighbors, so felt very private. It’s clear that Emily put careful thought into every detail of the space, from the furniture to the amenities and fully-stocked kitchen. The screened porch was an exceptional feature. I stayed with my family and the space was more than enough to accommodate all of us. I absolutely recommend the Vū for your next mountain getaway!

Lovely cottage that feels secluded in the woods. Management company was easy to work with and helpful. We were lucky enough to meet the property owner (this is an accessory dwelling unit behind a large home, but completely private) who was exceptionally welcoming and friendly! Definitely stay here! There’s plenty of space and light and trees and wildlife. The screened in deck off the master bedroom is spectacular. Highly recommend!

Rose all Day was a perfect retreat for our family to spend a few days in Crozet. The house and property are quaint and clean in a location convenient to the local Crozet attractions. My stay was unexpectedly extended due to a medical issue and Cynthia was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

For a peaceful and tranquil experience, this house in Charlottesville is highly recommended. The house was immaculately clean, has a beautiful kitchen, and the outdoor amenities, including the fire pit, hot tub, and pond with fountain, provided an ideal setting to unwind after a long day exploring the wineries. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to CVille.

This home is very well organized and welcoming! The location is close to many places to eat and UVA. The swing in the backyard was a hit with our daughter. Mom loved the Nespresso machine, and the grandparents liked the comfy beds. The host was accommodating and so prepared. We really appreciated our stay!

The house is quite new, nicely decorated, and squeaky clean. Especially liked the children's artwork adorning the walls. Very convenient to Charlottesville, wineries, breweries, and area attractions. Nice deck off the side of the house but some traffic noise from nearby highway. Could use a bit more kitchen equipment for those who like to eat in.

Great peaceful place with amazing view and wild visitors from time to time. We've stayed 2 times at this house, perfect location for enjoying Blue ridge mountains area. There is a good variety of wineries and etc nearby for having delicious dinners, thanks for some recommendations from host. We did bbq and enjoyed atmosphere. Definitely going to stay at this place again! Thanks!

Wish we had knew about the pond before our last morning! Spacious place, secluded area! Could have used some kitchen towels- maybe we just missed them though. Overall, great stay!

What a lovely place! The home is charming and the view in the backyard is amazing. Location is great as well - a short drive to many attractions. Jeanne was very helpful and communicative. Keep in mind that it is an old house, so the living room area was a bit uneven when walking around. The bedrooms were comfortable and there were so many great places to relax - the front porch with a cup of coffee, the daybed with a cocktail, and of course the hot tub!

My family and I stayed here for a Liberty University graduation. Although it’s a bit of a drive it’s a good location, not far from wineries, shopping and affordable etc. Emma is a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodated everything we needed for our littles. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others!
