Raven and Flame were very communicative and understanding in the face of shifting arrival plans. Their place was cozy and comfortable. Raven gave a very comprehensive welcoming tour of their home and amenities. For the cost, it really can't be beat.

A very homey comfortable stay. Very peaceful neighborhood close to downtown. A real bed and breakfast where you feel like a guest in your family’s home. It was great!

Nancy’s place is a gem, and so is she. From local recommendations to friendly chats, she is a terrific AirBnB host. This is the place to stay if you’re coming into town for a concert at Ting Pavilion or want to be close to downtown.

Nancy was super friendly, communicative and accommodating. I traveled alone and the bedroom was perfect with lighting, fan, bedding, black out shades, plenty of bureau and shelf space and best of all... an exceptional mattress. I woke up rested and my back felt great. Parking is free and I was able to get a spot in front of the house for the entire weekend. It is walkable to the farmer's market, historic downtown and the pedestrian mall. I would stay at Nancy's home for sure the next time I visit Charlottesville 👍.

The Location was great and they were super kind and helpful! we would always recommend staying here! we really loved the opportunity to make breakfast without running to the grocery store and definitely would come back😊

We had a wonderful stay at The Barn and would come back again in a heartbeat! Dawn and Damond were friendly, approachable, and provided all kinds of local recommendations during our visit. Their apartment was spotless, light, and equipped with just about everything one could need. We'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, especially small families with children. Great two night stay at Lisa's place! 5 minute drive to the downtown mall area, you definitely could do the 30ish minute walk but it was 95 degrees so we opted to drive. Thankfully the apartment had AC and was cool and comfortable. Lisa was very friendly and responsive and the place itself had everything we needed and more. Recommended for anyone visiting the Charlottesville area!

We loved Bianca’s place, she is so sweet and considerate of her guests! I would definitely recommend & stay again when in Charlottesville! The property & stay was amazing!

For a visit to UVA (for orientation, graduation, or ...), Penny's place is a great match (if you are walkers like my family). 1. Extremely peaceful, looking out at trees w/birds chirping away w/o a hint of road noise. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the terrace. 2. Convenient ... <10 minutes walk to a big shopping center and <30 minutes to center of UVA campus. 3. You're visiting someone's home (fully equipped kitchen, lots of plants due to Penny's evident green thumb) w/many thoughtful items to make the stay easier/more enjoyable (fruit, coffee/tea, snacks, breakfast foods, lots (LOTS) of towels, etc ...) Penny, in communication, undersold her home -- yes, it is an older (not renovated) place (not the Ritz Carlton) -- but it made for a very comfortable base for graduation weekend events. NOTE: Be aware that there is no WiFi.

We loved our stay at Elsa’s place! We were in town for a concert at Ting Pavilion, and the location was walkable with lots to do close by. Elsa went out of her way to help us check in a tad bit early so we would have plenty of time to experience the area before the concert. The house was perfectly described and was an easy check-in and check/out process. If you’re looking for a place for the weekend that’s walkable to Ting Pavilion, I highly recommend Elsa’s!

My husband and I had an excellent time using this Airbnb as ‘home base’ for our exploration of Charlottesville. Would highly recommend for its walkability and responsive host!

Truly an amazing little Inn. The rooms are so clean and the beds are so comfortable. The owners are lovely, down to earth, kind caring people. They make the stay so enjoyable and we can not wait to return. If you want to get away from the stress of life and enjoy the slower lifestyle of the 1800’s you need to stay here at the Hollymead House Inn.

Super comfortable room and bed. Nice coffee nook with snacks and lemon water. Breakfast was delicious. Owners gave great vineyard and restaurant recommendations .

Beautiful little inn very close to Charlottesville in a lovely quiet neighborhood. The owners are wonderful - very kind and informative with lots of great suggestions for things to do and see. Can’t wait to go back!

We were the only ones there on our night, had the whole place to ourselves so it was quiet. We were prepared to share bathroom and kitchen! Living room and kitchen table area have enough room if people want to hang out and visit, a real “ hostel” feel. Raven gave a great, informative introduction to the house and rules. We really appreciated the breakfast supplies, egg, bread, peanut butter , jam, fruit, coffees and teas.

Amazing stay. Exactly as described and Anne was a WONDERFUL host. Very proactive, friendly & kind. Anne & Mike set up the fire pit for us which was such a nice bonus. And Anne gave us a tour of the Farm Sanctuary where we had the pleasure of meeting the 14 animal friends. This location was great & peaceful. Would highly recommend and we plan on coming back here in the future. Thank you, Anne!

We stayed in room #3. It was nicely decorated. The bed was super comfy and we slept great. Fresh flowers were in our room when we got in which was a nice touch. Our room had 2 robes in the closet along with plenty of hangars. Room also had a dresser. No TV is in the bedroom (which we did not miss) but there was a TV in the main house which could be used. The B&B is located within 20 minutes of downtown CVille, Monticello, hiking and our favorite, Snugglebutts Farm. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable about the area. There are a lot of things to look at inside the home which they have a vast knowledge of the history of the items. The breakfast was simple but fantastic. Granola, yogurt, fresh berries, croissants and/or muffins. The coffee was great. They also had a selection of Teas.

We had a wonderful stay at Hollymead House. It was the perfect respite from a day of wedding festivities and going-ons about town. The room was clean and smelled amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Our hosts were kind, so eager to ensure we had everything we needed, and worked to create such a calm and cozy atmosphere for their guests.

It was an extraordinary place to stay. Bianca was a down to earth host, immediately telling me to let her know if I needed anything. Ulabelle and Calvin were a welcomed sight as I am a dog lover. I felt at home from the very start. The house and property are amazing! 10 out 10 for me! Thank you, Bianca, for your wonderful hospitality.
