The BnB is located on the 2nd floor of our oceanfront home. This upstairs, fully furnished apartment has a private entrance that requires you to walk up 14 steps. The bedroom, living room and kitchen all have ocean views that look out over historic Mill Bay. There is a private deck where you can sit and regularly observe Bald Eagles, Sea Otters, and more. The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.
