Wow! Frank's place is absolutely beautiful. I could not have asked for a better place to spend our 35th wedding anniversary. The house was immaculate. The kitchen was THOROUGHLY stocked. Very good cookware and the knives were sharp! I usually do not sleep well in a different bed but my back did not hurt at all. I must say the chair in the corner in the living room is without a doubt the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in. Spent the rainy day hanging out in that chair. Frank and Amy were very responsive and offered great suggestions on things to do. Amy greeted us upon arrival. She lives in the house next door. Beautiful gardens. Very quiet, peaceful and remote setting. Bangor was about a 30-minute drive. Acadia an hour drive. This house is definitely one of the top Airbnb's we have ever stayed at. I would not hesitate to stay at this beautiful peace of paradise again. Wish we lived closer.

The apartment was fantastic! It had everything we needed, and no clutter! Beautiful furnishings, modern, simple and comfortable. Surprised by the unexpected gorgeous view of the Narrows bridge at night - what a great seating alcove to enjoy it! Easily walkable to the waterfront and restaurants. We have come to depend on Warren's on the Waterfront and Bucksport House of Pizza over the past few years of visiting - this trip did not disappoint, the pizza and sandwiches are still top notch! We were here this time for our son's graduation from MMA, and although we rented a larger home for the younger guests and West Coast visitors, we chose this one for us, as a place to get away from the chaos of the larger home. It was simply perfect. Kudos to your housekeeping, the apartment was spotless and so welcoming - especially after a 13 hour drive from Maryland. Even though our son has graduated, we will be back. We just love the area. Thank You!!!

Sweet cottage by the river that was a quiet weekend getaway. Our hosts had everything we needed: comfortable beds, plenty of linens, a clean cottage, and all the basic kitchen supplies to use. We appreciate all their recommendations for local hikes and restaurants. Our time in Bucksport Maine was a great and we will visit again.

We would highly recommend staying at Jean-Yves and Carol's place! The location was perfect to be a home-base for exploring, with day trips to Bangor, Rockland, Acadia, Bar Harbor, and more! The space was incredibly charming, with a very comfy bed. We're so thankful that it was dog friendly so that our pups could enjoy beautiful Maine with us! The only caution we'd have for someone considering this is that there are spiral staircases to both get inside and to get up to the bedroom - if that's not a concern for you, book it!
