Pigin Cottage - Small, cosy, perfectly restored

Amazing location, easy walk up onto the moors or into Rosedale along the river valley. Beautifully restored and fitted out. Everything tool you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. Peaceful seating area out the back and we loved seeing the rabbits and hearing the owls.

Farndale Cottage North York Moors National Park

CraigRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This was a lovely, comfortable stay. Francesca and Mark were very friendly, accommodating and communicative. The cottage was exactly as described with clear instructions for everything. Plainly the property well-loved and well looked after. We really enjoyed the views from the kitchen and the drives around the locality. Francesca had good recommendations for local businesses. I would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose

Thresher Cottage (self catering)

AshleighRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The best 3 night stay at Thresher Cottage. Surroundings are so peaceful, except for some friendly mooing which we loved, but Whitby and Pickering only a short drive away. Really impressed with the size and layout of the cottage, wish we had booked for longer now! Recommended to friends and family already

Percy's Cottage

KristyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Percy’s Cottage was a terrific location for our quick trip in for a wedding at Danby Castle. It was super clean and modern. Great directions and instructions. What I didn’t know was that my hair dryer (American voltage) wouldn’t work even with a UK adapter and there isn’t a hair dryer included. Everything was great and host left treats, starter coffee, tea and milk. Really lovely property and wished we had stayed longer!
A charming stone cottage is set against a clear blue sky, showcasing its rustic facade. The building features a traditional tiled roof and green doors. A neatly maintained garden with a stone wall is visible in the foreground, highlighting the property’s connection to the surrounding moorland.

Host & Stay | Lop Hall

HarrietRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Amazing property, can’t do it justice in a review. Better than the pics. Very special place to spend some time as a family. We were in the area for a wedding - beautiful countryside and lots of fun things to do / visit locally. Great communication with host. My only improvement would have been to have a few dishwasher tablets and washing machine pods available as we arrived late and with a baby, so that would have been helpful. Would return and recommend.
