We had a perfect stay. The house was so wonderful and the nature surrounding it .. amazing! Find yourself, get lost in the quiet and lonely mountains … we didn’t want to leave.

We stayed in the area for a friend’s wedding and had the most wonderful stay. Great communication from the host. The house and surrounding garden was absolutely beautiful, exactly as described. We loved using the paddle boards and the hot tub. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment in a really beautiful place and really cozy inside. The living room window opens to a really beautiful view that can also be admired from the balcony. Beds, pillows, blankets and sheets really comfortable and high quality! The best dreams of my visits to different places so far. Beautiful and idyllic little house in the countryside. Quiet and peaceful location with access to dining area in the garden. Short distance to both Sommarland and Gygrestolen. Friendly host and flexible check-in. We cooked a little, but found what we needed of kitchen equipment. Super holiday with the kids.

Incredible location with all the amenities for a longer period stay. We stayed for almost 3 months and we had a wonderful time . Magne and Lena are great hosts, very friendly and made us fell like home. They offered us the opportunity to join to different gatherings to fell the community atmosphere and traditions. During our stay, we worked remotely and the WiFi was the best ever seen . Not any problem encountered during our stay and Magne was there to respond to any questions we had. At the location there are many hiking trails and nature spots to discover. We can't wait to return there. Tip for tenants: If the location is available during your desired period, don't think twice and book it... you will thank me later for the tip.

Eva not say enough about this beautiful house. The location was picturesque and tranquil, we enjoyed sipping our nespresso looking at the view. There was more than enough space for two families, even though we were only three. We had a sauna every day and were lucky to have some snow. The beds were heavenly, we slept in every day. We did some skiing at Panorama Vradal right down the road. Kiki was super responsive in helping us figure things out. Her place is perfect for rest and relaxation. We will be back!!

We absolutely loved staying at Mona’s riverside home! The house was so cozy and comfortable we felt right at home. The house is located a short distance from town and was so peaceful, which made for a perfect end to our 2 week trip in Norway. Mona responded quickly to our messages and provided great local recommendations. We can’t recommend her place enough! On a side note, we also got to see (from a distance) baby swans be born on an island in the middle of the river all from the living room window of the house! ❤️

We had a great stay. It was a great apartment, looked like the pictures, great views, clean and great parking. Kristina was quick to reach and very friendly. Glad to come back :)

A large apartment, clean and comfortable. Min point was that the cooking area and water was in a different room. But with all the other positive points, this was not insurmountable.

Kristian’s home has everything you need when visiting Kristiansand. The location next to Bystranda is perfect and you can walk to any part of the city’s attractions from there. Moreover, having dedicated parking in the garage, makes the visit very convenient and effortless. There is an elevator taking you from the garage straight up to the entrance of the apartment. With a nice balcony you can enjoy early breakfasts and take in the fresh air from the sea. Highly recommend!

We had a great time with Judith and Bouke. We felt very welcome from the first moment. The house is delicate and well-equipped and the views are simply magical. It was very nice to cycle Gamleveien to Folkestadbyen and relax on the beach near the house. Judith's gallery was the highlight of Folkestadbyen. The finest place there. We have acquired two fine works that we took home and hung on the walls. How lucky we are to have such great memories from our trip! Our daughter got to play with the cat and she had a lot of fun out on the sunny terrace. Many thanks to Judith and Bouke for their hospitality and kindness! This place is highly recommended!💖

Amazing stay. It is so peaceful in amazing surroundings with lots of possibilities as the hosts are very generous with their equipments in addition to being so friendly and welcoming. Highly appreciated and recommend!

We had a great time. 😍 Ingvild and her husband were very welcoming, very friendly and gave good advice. The accommodation was as described, well appointed and clean. We had everything we could need for a great stay. The little touch for breakfast was lovely, it was very good, thank you so much! We recommend this accommodation which is in a peaceful setting with lots of nature around.

It is a practical cottage with a nice atmosphere. We felt right at home there. It was very nice that we could play in the garden and the sandpit, swing and slide provided a lot of fun with our daughter. From the cottage, you can take beautiful walks to the fortress and the harbor.

I had a nice stay, only one night unfortunately, but the evening was ideal - very quiet! The view of the garden and the river is fantastic - it was warm and so nice to sit outside late at night. Nice trips from the apartment, all in all a perfect way to enjoy this short trip to Hornnes! Thank you so much, Tess! 😊

I cannot emphasize enough how relaxing and splendid our experience was! We had an amazing time staying there for our honeymoon! The host and her husband were very kind, friendly, and hospitable. Even though we came during Christmas, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome! They even set us up a Christmas tree in the cabin and provided home-made snacks. There was plenty of fire wood, so we stayed nice and warm. The beds were so soft! The back four beds could easily fit two people each, for those who are wondering. If you stay with them, I highly recommend renting the sauna paired with swimming in the fresh water lake! The eggs from the chickens are delicious! The sheep are friendly. It was the coziest, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. We are so grateful to have been able to visit! It really made our honeymoon special. We hope to one day come back during the summer to see how the area differs, but we suspect it is spectacular at any point in the year.

We stayed for 4 nights in Renate's home in July 2024. Large and nice house with a fantastic location, and many opportunities for activating small and large. Highly recommended and will be happy to come again.

We had a lovely stay at Gullborg's place. Everything lived up to expectations, and we felt really lucky to have found such a lovely place. Both children and adults enjoyed the beach, the garden, and the beautiful terrace with beautiful views. Vrådal offers great hiking opportunities - also for small children. We would love to come again!
