Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Agder

We were two families with 6 small children who got to rent the house for one night when we were traveling to the Zoo the next day. The photos match the reality, good communication with the host. The house was clean and organized. Nice peaceful and child friendly place. We felt like we're in home.

We had a perfect stay. The house was so wonderful and the nature surrounding it .. amazing! Find yourself, get lost in the quiet and lonely mountains … we didn’t want to leave.

Lene's house is amazing. Everything is exactly as described, almost a little nicer. We had wonderful days in the house and enjoyed the tranquility and proximity to the beach very much. We can definitely recommend the house.

We were two families with children who enjoyed it. The location was absolutely perfect with lovely views and a short drive to Kristansand and Dyreparken. The outdoor area was just perfect for big and small. The host was friendly and responded in a short amount of time. It's a lot possible we choose exactly this place again. Would definitely recommend this place!

Such an amazing place and location. The house was gorgeous, and the hosts were so helpful. They even left fishing poles for my son to use, so sweet. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The cabin is very nice and big. We were a family of four with two grown up boys. The house is richly equipped as well in the kitchen as in the rest of the house. Regrettable the coffee machine was out for repairs. The surroundings of Sirdal are great lots of things to do (Kjerag, Lisebotn, Preikestolen and many nice hikes. Merete is a great host she responded very fast to all our questions and gave great tips of what you could. This went from nature to food to culture. We certainly recommend Merete’s place even as the ski slopes are closed as we were there in June.

We really enjoyed our stay at Morten's. Incredibly great space, for both adults and children. Very nice with indoor pool, short distance to the beach and good play opportunities for the children. Morten responded quickly every time there was something, and was a great help. We would gladly came back! 😊

Very friendly hosts - would highly recommend staying here! Description and pictures are very accurate - small and cozy! Cooking in the kitchen was tight but my wife and I managed to make some easy meals during our stay. Shower is outdoors but very private, great water pressure and hot so even on the colder days it was very pleasant. Not a ton to do in the specific area but very easy drive to Kristiansand and Mandal if you are looking for more shops and restaurants. Beautiful place very close to the beach!

The cabin is cozy and equipped with everything you need. We spent New Year's Eve there. It is quiet and in a beautiful setting. With 4 people, we had plenty of room there. The shower is a bit divided. It's not a problem at all. After heavy snowfall, it was cleared quickly and we also "only" got along well equipped with winter tires. Would love to come again. It is certainly very nice there also in the summer.

Very happy with your stay. Kid-friendly with nearby playgrounds. Big plus with access to swimming pool. The apartment was well equipped with what you need, even toys for the little ones. The whole family had a great time. Cozy and accommodating host. Nice to travel to all year long. We were there on Easter. 30 min drive to Dyreparken, but it was worth it.

Dear Vidar, We spent a wonderful 1.5 weeks in your cozy place. The small beach was our absolute highlight and we had so much fun exploring the lake with the small boat! Thanks for the great time, we felt very comfortable!

We had a great stay at Katja and Tom's farm. It was very quiet and the price is also super favorable. Highly recommendable!

A wonderful lakeside location (wonderful also for mosquitoes!) with a beautiful rowing boat for fishing (but no fish) but what does that matter. The cottage is fantastic, romantic and excellently equipped. On the extended terrace there is a cozy covered cottage (with mosquito screens!) where you can enjoy a drink in the evening. Good excursion opportunities to Setesdal - be sure to visit the mineral exhibition! Rather disappointing for anglers. Still highly recommended!

A fantastic location in Mandal. The city's best plot with Sjøsanden's 800 m long beach outside the door. The city center a few meters the other way. High standard of the apartment - the listing is actually completely correct. We were two couples, as well as daughter and grandchildren of 6 months and couldn't get better accommodation. All the necessary equipment was there, but the travel bed for the infant we brought ourselves. Amazing patio - to modestly call it balcony - large and with views to the south and west. Sea sand with lighthouse lantern Grandma, Hattholmen lighthouse and (theoretical) view to Denmark! Add that the weather was amazing, one day with rain it was pleasant inside with plenty of room for everyone. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay here! We want to return. The house has big windows, and you can enjoy the scenery right from the house. I’ll never forget the beautiful sunset & sunrise that we got to enjoy while staying here. This house is so perfect. Thank you Michael for sharing your beautiful home with us.

A nice, very well-equipped and lovingly furnished apartment with an insanely beautiful view and spacious balcony. The hosts were very kind and warm. We had a wonderful evening with them – they invited us to drinks and we had great conversations. Thank you for the hospitality!

Me and a girlfriend spent a weekend at this amazing cabin. Beautiful location, where you really feel completely at one with nature. The cabin looks exactly like the photos. Maybe even better in real life. This is a place where you can really find peace and just enjoy the view. A nice bonus that we could borrow the rowing boat and get a little trip out on the water. Magical weekend! We would love to come back.
