Vacation rentals with lake access in Zurich

It's a really good deal. It is clean and everything you could need is there. It was a fun experience meeting Mäggie and the people from the other rooms :) The house has a beautiful garden and a nice spot at the lake is less than 10min away.

Easy peasy to find and get to, responsive and communicative host, and beautiful neighborhood close to the Zürich airport!

We were looking for a place to stay to host our guests privately. The apartment was perfect in this regard. Parking in front of the door. Restaurants within walking distance.

Enjoyed the peace and slept well in the comfortable bed! I only saw Reto briefly, found him very likeable! Maybe come in summer to use the beautiful terrace. Jaqueline

The apartment was super comfortable, big spaces and it has all the things you could need for your stay. It is very close (walking distance) to the main areas of turism, but at the same time the street was super calm in order to have a good relax time. Very good place to stay at Zurich.

Cozy place & wonderful location

Very nice bright apartment. The plus, in the heat there were outdoor blinds and so the apartment was wonderfully cool. The only downside in the late afternoon hours, heavy traffic but after 6:00 pm very quiet. I'd love to come back.

Roland's flat in Rapperswil was excellent for our extended stay. Everything in the kitchen was well stocked. The flat appeared to have recently been redone; everything was clean and new. The rooms were spacious and had a remarkably wonderful view of the old town and the castle. The location is excellent with close access to the train station and grocery stores, including the banhof coop which is open on Sundays. Unlike many AirBnb's across Europe, the flat had air conditioning and access to an elevator/lift. The flat is on the 3rd floor (4th floor for Americans) and the elevator was a huge help with our infant's buggy/stroller. We stayed during the Euro football tournament, and there was a lot of street noise with fans honking car horns every night. The A/C helped here as we could easily close the windows (which cut out the great majority of noise) but still keep cool. Lastly, Roland was an excellent host, promptly responding to messages. A+, highly recommended to anyone.

This was one of the best places we've stayed. The host was excellent at communicating before, during, and after our stay; she went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with our stay. She has arranged the living space well given the room she had to work with, and everything was spotlessly clean. She has flowers and other plants near the front door that make the outdoor table setting elegant for a morning cup of coffee or tea. The clothes dryer was a big plus for us, and the WiFi worked perfectly. The apartment is close to the train station and bus stop. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, and a well stocked grocery store (Migros) and bakery (Juliette) are close by. I would gladly recommend this listing to anyone visiting Zurich or its western suburbs.

I sincerely wanted to thank Eliane and her mom Heidi for the warm welcome, their kindness and their availability during my 9 months spent in their accommodation. The room is very well equipped and super functional. Also, I particularly appreciated the tranquility of the neighborhood and the proximity to the train station, the lakefront as well as supermarkets. I have always been able to rely on them in case of need, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I thank you again for this experience and memorable stay. Our family did a stint of air bnbs because for a family of five, it was the most economical and easier option. We have been disappointed with the all of them in Italy, Japan. And there I was telling my husband that that’s it; no more Airbnb; can’t trust the reviews. Then we went the Urdin house. It was beautiful, clean, and I clearly could sense the effort that Alvaro and Rayna had to make us feel at home. They even had new kitchen sponge and towels and the place wasn’t dusty, floor was heated, central heating was working fine, bathrooms felt so at home for us!
