Monthly Rentals in Zaganiaris

We had a wonderful stay here in the peaceful mountain village of Palaiopoli in Andros. Communication and check in were very smooth and we were also able to rent two cars from the host. There was a stone beach down some steep steps (15mins down, 25 mins back up) but also plenty of other amazing beaches on the island accessible by car. If we ever returned to Andros we wouldn’t hesitate to stay in Pomegranate House or another one of Alexandros’s properties again!

A wonderful place and an excellent host. The location on the beach, but just minutes from the village with restaurants and shops, was perfect. Highly recommended for a quiet relaxing holiday on beautiful Andros.

It is hard to imagine a house more beautiful than this one. The natural scenery is astounding: the cliffs, the sea, the sky, the goats, the birds... It is such a wonderful place that we found it hard, every morning, to leave the house to visit Andros and go to the beach. The view is amazing, the terrace very comfortable and the shower in the garden a pleasant plus, especially in the evening when the water is warm after a sunny day. Inside, the decor is very pleasant and the kitchen is fully furnished - and I mean, fully! Oven, orange squeezer, cutlery, toaster, you name it. Which is great news, because if you don't mind cooking you really don't need any restaurants and at dinner you can take advantage of one of the most beautiful views in the whole island. The beds are comfortable, with good mattresses, and at night there is no noise. Really: no noise at all, but the sound of the wind. This is also the perfect place if you have to spend some hours working, because there's plenty of space and a good wifi connection (the telephone network works fine, too). My husband, my son and I spent some of the happiest days of our lives in this house, and I am grateful to Loukia because she was always quick in answering to my questions and very helpful. And she decorated the house beautifully! I am looking forward to coming back!
