There are not enough words to describe how beautiful, scenic, and quiet this place was. John was extremely communicative and responded quickly to any questions I had. The directions and instructions were helpful and clear. The home is tucked away from the center of town which made it so relaxing. The home has a woodsy modern home feel to it that is just incredible. The decor and furniture was comfortable and stylish. The hot tub was so nice and relaxing. It felt like you were in the middle of the woods. The home has everything you could possibly need when visiting Idyllwild. I had the perfect getaway here.

Shayne was a pleasure to deal and communicate with. It was our 2nd visit and we love the quiet neighborhood, the home’s convenient location to the Village and of course the lake view.

We felt right at home here! It was off the beaten path but still super close to town. The AC works REALLY well downstairs but it doesn't even begin to touch the bedroom area, so bear that in mind if you're staying when it's hot. Hot tub worked great, the kitchen had everything you would need to cook, and check in/check out was smooth.

From start to finish we really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. We felt right at home, safe and comfortable. The location was great and walkable to the lake. The fire pit, jacuzzi and kayaks were a wonderful addition. Jack and Adam were very responsive and sweet. We would happily stay here again. It was perfect! 😊

Gorgeous views and surroundings. Kitchen is well stocked with high quality cooking supplies/pots/pans. Using the hot tub with the beautiful view was a dream. Waking up in the middle of the forest with birds singing was lovely. The hosts were wonderful - very responsive and kind.

Jim’s home was very cozy & had all the amenities needed for a weekend getaway. We really appreciated his fast communication. 10/10 recommend! :)

Such a relaxing environment! And when we wanted to be active, hiking trails abound - our favorite was the Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail. I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee outdoors. Many birds, especially woodpeckers, were active. Sunset over the San Bernardino Forest is marvelous! The plants along the walkway to the hot tub reveal intentionality and a desire to make the entire property unique. The gentle breeze and cool temperatures enhance the experience! I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain home. The off-street private driveway makes loading the kiddos and gear into the car a breeze. The amenities are well appointed with fresh linens and towels plus the extra high end hospitality details throughout. The indoor/outdoor spaces are open and light-filled making for a comfortable, relaxing, and fun atmosphere. It is a private, upscale home that is cared for meticulously. Kudos to you, Margarita! Another plus, you're just seconds away from a nature walk and few minutes from town, the lake and slopes, perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was cozy and beautiful. The views were great. Larry was also very responsive, especially when we had questions. Overall, he was a wonderful host. Will definitely keep this listing in mind for future stays!

This was my second time staying at Anastasia and Milen’s awesome mountain retreat. I adored their comfy, relaxing cabin, especially the outdoor deck which provides incredible sunset views and extraordinary birding opportunities. I can’t wait to return! Anastasia and Milen get my highest recommendation!

Absolutely beautiful cabin in Idyllwild, the furnishings and decor were so cool, the bathrooms were modern with lovely showers, kitchen was well stocked and the deck was such a lovely place to enjoy a drink in the evenings. Would absolutely stay here again! 20 minute walk into town with some restaurants even closer, parking in the drive was easy and close to beautiful trails. Thanks so much for an unforgettable stay!

This home fully lived up to the high ratings and reviews. It's a beautiful location, and the interiors are well appointed and stylish, without feeling precious. As a family with a large dog, we were especially grateful to have such a lovely home with a fenced in yard that allowed us all to travel together. Aside from the house itself, Stephanie was an incredibly responsive host and responded immediately to any questions that came up. Overall, a delightful stay at a beautiful property, we would absolutely love to return.

We loved our stay! My partner and I came here to escape the city life and find some peaceful surroundings, and Danny’s home was just that. This particular neighborhood was very quiet with minimal vehicular traffic yet, just a short 15-20 min drive into town. Our pup loooved the fully fenced backyard. Although we didn’t use much of the upstairs (so we could stay downstairs with our dog) we really appreciated the board games! Oh and! A fully stocked kitchen made cooking every meal so convenient.

Perfect Magical Views. Could not pick up my book as the views kept captivating me. Perfectly private and remote yet only an 8 minute drive into town. Mary & May are the perfect Hosts. You can see their passion for this Cabin with all the details in every corner of this Beautiful Cabin. The cleanliness is remarkable. Areas were spacious and comfortable and cozy at the same time. We saw sun set and moon rise . Although it was a bit overcast we still saw some stars above us. Just Magical. A true Cabin in the sky. Lots of wildlife entertained us the entire stay. Mom and I surely felt at home and will return and recommend this Beautiful Retreat to family and friends. Thank you Mary for making us feel so special in your Cabin in the sky.

Jill’s Wander Wild cabin was everything we were hoping for and more. It was fully stocked, and quiet and only minutes from town. The hot tub was wonderful, the bed was comfy and we absolutely loved listening to nature on the deck and drinking coffee in the mornings. We did a puzzle, listened to some music and just enjoyed the surroundings while we fell in love with the town. We will certainly be back if she’ll have us!

One word, AWESOME! As soon as you walk in you feel at home, from the ambiance to even the smell of the house. It helped make you forgot all of life’s stresses and live in the moment, enjoy the amazing views, and family bonding. The cabin itself was really clean, smelled great, well equipped kitchen with everything you would need and more, comfortable beds, couches, closet full of board games, and can’t forget the pac-man game. Outside they have string lighting, with outdoor sectional with a propane outdoor firepit to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The jacuzzi feels amazing especially after a busy day exploring. The cabin is near local hikes, local village with souvenirs shops and places to eat. Overall my experience here was great, the host were fast to respond and also included a small book of local recommendations which was very helpful.

This cabin is spacious! and had plenty on amenities. The living room has a floor to ceiling windows to just enjoy looking out at the mountain while sitting next to the fireplace playing games with the family. The fully modern and very spacious bathroom and shower was very well stocked with plenty of toilet paper, shampoo, and bodywash. Only a few minutes drive from the Village shops next to the lake. If you are looking for a peaceful and very comfortable place to stay, this is your place! Did I mention the ultra comfy king size beds in both bedrooms?

I had such a lovely and peaceful stay at the Tiny Triangle! The A-frame cabin was exactly as pictured—charming, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The space was spotless and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The views from the loft and the deck were beautiful, even more magical in the rain. Luckily it rained when we were there ughhh most magical experience. It was definitely cozy. You can tell Brent and Jackie put a lot of love into this place. Communication was great, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. I’d definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in nature with great vibes and comfort!

We had a great time here. The views are even more stunning in person and if you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet time foraway from the city then this is the perfect place. We loved the modern check-in and check-out process.

We had a great romantic stay here. It’s a small rustic cabin, authentically wooden and aged, but has just the right modern touches. Screens on the windows, vent in the bathroom, remote control lights, stone counters in the kitchen, A/C. Place was clean and tidy, we did see a few rogue insects and webs but difficult to prevent that in the mountains. The spa was a great perk. We loved the lights out there and it felt private despite it being out front. You will see bugs at night though! We also really enjoyed the back patio. We sat out there each morning to drink our coffee and watch the squirrels and blue jays. It was a great escape from city life. Bedroom loft area was so cozy and cute. The most modern part of the cabin as well, and spotless. The bed was pretty cozy. We couldn’t really get the hang of adjusting the firmness of it, but we slept good anyway. Parking is a bit tricky but manageable. The bathroom is quite small, no counter space ladies. Overall a lovely stay for a couple.

Exceeded my expectations, which were high from the photos. Gorgeous views no matter where you look or go, inside or outside the cabin. I downloaded maps/directions for offline use and with the photos and instructions given had no problems finding the road and cabin. Personally I appreciated the lack of reception & TV. Didn’t have issues waking up through the night or with mice in general, as others have reported. I did keep all food inside the fridge and cleaned up after every meal, so maybe just don’t leave crumbs/food out. Would love to come back, just perfectly fit what we wanted in every way.
