Yumi was an excellent host! Her place was exactly as described and easy to find with her instructions. She was extremely friendly and helpful every step of the way, including going as far to have video instructions for how to get into the lock box for the key. Her place is cozy and well stocked with anything you need. It was also about a 5-7 minute walk from the train station and located in a very cute and peaceful neighborhood with plenty of local convenience stores, a market, and a nice 24 hour restaurant that we hit up a couple of times. If you’re looking for an excellent option close to the airport and outside of the hustle and bustle of Shibuya or Shinjuku, then I absolutely recommend Yumi’s place! She is a wonderful host!

The host Lucy was highly responsive and helpful. Responsiveness: We had problems locating the block upon arrival and she was prompt and helpful in providing more pictures to help us. During our stay, we had a bit of problem with the aircon, but help is always just a message away. Facilities: The house was great, we could get our own rooms with privacy, just that it was a little squeezy for 5 pax. 4 pax would be more of an ideal size for the size of the house. Beds were comfy, except that the double bed would only provide enough space if the 2 pax were on the smaller side. Dining table was of a great size to accomodate up to 5 pax. Channels like Youtube, Netflix were all available. Location: Perfect location, close walk to the train station on one side, and Chinatown on the other end. Neighbourhood is safe and quiet. I would said it is perfect! Price: This is indeed value for money for this accomodation! My whole family loves this place! Thumbs up for Lucy and her team!

I love this apartment. I felt at home and like I could live there for an extended time. I love the area, it’s so cute. The CVS downstairs is quite convenient, especially if you need medication and such. The apartment is clean and the balcony is lovely. The blackout curtains work well if you don’t like the early morning sun. Ayako responds quickly and is super friendly. It was lovely to actually meet her and her son. I will return here anytime I need a nice place to stay in Tokyo!

We stayed for 3 weeks and then went on a cruise for more than 3 weeks, so we had a lot of luggage and it felt a little cramped.It's partly because I'm from abroad.However, for those coming from Asia, it is convenient for transportation, and I think it is ideal for staying because it is very tidy and well cleaned.There are many markets and shops nearby, so you can enjoy yourself.Also, Amira, the host, was kind and responded quickly to inquiries and questions.It was inconvenient that there was only one key.I had trouble when my husband and I were apart.But it is a highly recommended room.

We enjoyed so much this apartement. It felt as we were living in between the daily life of the people in Tsurumi. It was easily accessible for visiting the whole area of Yokohama, Kamakura and Tokyo. Keita was so proaktiv and we were informed about everything in the surrounding. The apartment has a great japanese look and feel. We will definitely come back!!

Yoshika's apartment was perfect especially it was so near the Acquarium and near the beach. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was adequate to our needs. I want to also emphasize to express our appreciation further to Yoshika for being considerate and very generous. Our stay in Enoshima was amazing because of our stay with her.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's place in Yamato. I would highly recommend this rental and we plan to stay here again on our next visit. There were many reasons why this is an Airbnb we will return to again. Sarah was a wonderful host, she met us at the Yamato train station, walked us to the apartment, and showed us how to access the gate and door. She also gave us a quick, helpful orientation on how to use things throughout the apartment and answered any questions we had promptly. The unit is perfectly set up for visitors. Everything is clearly labeled in Japanese and English so it eliminated the guesswork on how to operate the washing machine, etc. It had all the amenities we would need for a long stay including a welcome basket filled with coffee, tea and snacks which was a very nice touch after arriving from a long haul flight. It is large by Japanese standards and had plenty of space for our family of four. The location was perfect for us - near our family.

I went to Ota with two of my friends. We wanted to stay outside of central Tokyo, so that we would be able to rest after a long day of shopping and sightseeing. We found Harvey and Lei’s Airbnb and thought it was the perfect fit. Their Airbnb met our expectations and then some! Very clean, comfortable and a short distance from Nishi-Magome station which could get you started on your trip towards central Tokyo. It was an amazing stay and if you or your friends want to visit Japan and stay outside of Tokyo, I highly recommend this Airbnb. Harvey and Lei were wonderful hosts who gave us good instructions on how to get to their house, and they answered our questions fast if we had any! If we visit Japan again, we will make sure to see if Harvey and Lei’s Airbnb is available! We thank you so much for your hospitality!

We stayed overnight at Ayumi’s for an early morning flight out of Haneda. The location is great for an early departure or even a late arrival to give yourself some breathing room. We had a little difficulty getting into the building as due to a mix up of codes but Ayumi was quick to respond to our phone call and we were able to get in quickly. It’s a spacious place with a high class shower and classy interior. The description does state that there’s a tv but that’s only in the bath but the bedroom light is also a projector which casts to the doors when closed. Overall a great stop just before a day’s worth of traveling.

Everything was just as described, the place was nicely located away from the hustle but still convenient to get around to explore Tokyo and other areas. The apartment was comfortable for 2 people and equipped with everything you need. Hirohiko and his wife were friendly and helpful and always responded promptly to all our messages. They even gave us a little gift when we left. Highly recommended, thank you! 🙏

My family of three stayed together, but in addition to the bedroom, there was also a bed in the living room, and it was very easy to use because it was designed to allow you to relax in the living room after putting the kids to bed. It was fully equipped with facilities necessary for long-term stays, such as a washing machine, refrigerator, electric kettle, towels, and hangers, and it was also clean, which was helpful. There is not only a convenience store, but also a mini-supermarket and a coin laundry nearby, which is very convenient. It was a little difficult to take the suitcase up the stairs, but even taking that into account, I think it is more than worth it. The owner was very diligent in responding, and there were guidelines prepared to make it easy to use not only for Japanese people but also for foreigners, and he was a bright and kind person. Shinagawa is easy to get to by Shinkansen, and Haneda and Narita are easy to get to by plane, so I recommend it. We would like to stay there again when we are in Tokyo.

This was a great place to stay in Gotanda, not far from the station with lots of shops nearby. The flat was a nice size with plenty of amenities. Julian was a very helpful and friendly host too who was happy to help with any questions we had and allow for an easy check in.

We had a wonderful 8-night stay at this lovely home. The house is functional, clean, and thoughtfully equipped—not very spacious, but perfectly comfortable for the three of us. It had everything we needed, right down to the smallest details like personal toiletries and cooking spices, which made our stay even more convenient. One of the highlights was the strategic location—situated near both Yokohama and Tammachi stations, making commuting around the city super easy and efficient. Mrs. Teng, the host, is such a kind and attentive lady. She checked in on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, and even welcomed us with fruits and snacks upon arrival—a very thoughtful touch! She also generously allowed us a late check-out on our last day due to our night flight, which we truly appreciated.
