In the 1920s and 1930s, Otaru, as the largest port in Hokkaido, replaced Hakodate as the commercial and financial center of Hokkaido.Hand Palace was the busiest area in Otaru at the time, and there were various banks.120 years ago, at the current location of Jinyuan Homestay, a pawnshop was built, and its two stone warehouses are still in the Jinyuan courtyard, and there are still lamps and lanterns during the Great Zheng period.Sixty years ago, the former owner of the homestay took over the pawnbroken trip and extended the building outside of the stone warehouse to build the house.In late 2017, we took over the Jinyuan, preserving its quaint original appearance, including the Showa style style, and carefully preserved the Japanese-style yard for more than 60 years.This room is located on the first floor with an area of 25 square meters. It is a Japanese-style tatami room. It has a private toilet and sink. The bathroom is shared. The furniture in the room is 100 years old. It is a typical Japanese traditional building. The room has floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The window is a Japanese-style courtyard that has been maintained for 60 years. In the spring, various valuable trees and flowers bloom.
