Fantastic home, great host and lovely location to visit middleburg

We really enjoyed our stay in Ghent. The location is great and easily walkable to the city center. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. If I were to critique anything it'd be that the place is a bit cluttered. But all in all, if you are in Ghent, this is a great place.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in this beautifully refurbished building. Winny was very communicative and welcoming. He and Ruth have a wonderful thing going on with their properties! We wished we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you, Winnie and Ruth, for making our stay in such a lovely place possible.

Perfect apartment for visiting the center of Middelburg. The apartment smelled good, was clean. The bedding was comfortable. Paid parking nearby except on Sundays. Our stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed the moments at the apartment The only negative point is the noise coming from the street, but we were there during the King's Day, so I think it must have been livelier than usual!

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! Oskar is a great host. He was ready to meet us as soon as we arrived and went through everything we needed to know. Apartment was filled with everything we could possibly need for our stay and was immaculate. Location is great, just a 5 min walk from Centraal station. Would highly recommend.

The location is excellent, just outside the touristy old town, so lots of restaraunts nearby. The apartment itself is relatively spacious. There is a washer with a dryer, not a drying rack like you so often see. Lots of windows looking out over what used to be the Vrijdagmarkt. Bathroom is nicely sized. Host is communicative, and is always willing to answer questions. And it's a good looking apartment. The kitchen is inadequate, not enough cookware to actually cook, no microwave or toaster. There is no TV. No AC, and all those windows will warm up the apartment in the summer. Three flights of narrow stairs to get to the apartment, then another flight to the bedroom. At least those are reasonably wide. No guardrail in the bedroom to keep from falling down the steps in the night. Probably more psychological than actual but still. Bathroom downstairs so any trip during the night will thoroughly wake you up.

We were super satisfied and pleasantly surprised by the accommodation and the friendly welcome from Kris. The apartment was very nicely and cozily furnished. Spacious and homey. Nice garden and spacious parking for the car. Thanks Kris for the good welcome. If we need to be in the area again, we will definitely come back!

We love the atmosphere in Liekes cottage. For us, it means vacation from the first second, because everything just fits here! A beautiful, natural environment, a homely feeling in the fully equipped house with wonderful kitchen, great bathroom and cozy garden and a very courteous contact with Lieke. We feel completely comfortable here and will definitely be back! We couldn't have had a better vacation! Simply wonderful and highly recommended! Thanks for everything and see you soon!

We were 6 adults who came to do a part of Zeeland by bike! Very nice stay, very beautiful accommodation, nice decoration,everything was perfect! The plus:the shelter for bicycles with electric outlets and the Charette for luggage. Great welcome. The environment is great in the countryside with the beach 10 minutes by bike. Thank you again

Michel was a wonderful host, always available and very nice and helpful. He is constantly striving to make the stay as pleasant as possible. We really liked the house with the layout of the garden by the water and the beautiful view from the living room and terrace. The surroundings are beautiful and there is a lot to explore in the area. We really enjoyed our vacation and will definitely be back. Thank you Michel!

We stayed at Parkzicht for two nights to go to our aunt's 80th birthday party in Middelburg. We loved the accommodation, very central, a 10 minute walk to the marketplace, very spacious, comfortable beds, great shower, coffee machine and very well equipped kitchen. Helena was wonderful. We arrived at 9pm in Middelburg because the train from Rotterdam took a lot longer than we expected (lack of research on our part - the train arrived on time), and were worried we wouldn't find anywhere to eat, but she recommended a great restaurant, ZanziBAR, in the market square so we were really happy, and well fed and watered. She was also very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. There were leaflets in the lounge as well. Thanks again Helena. We had a fabulous stay.

We had a wonderful "girls' weekend" with 5 friends in the house. Everyone felt comfortable right away and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The house is fantastically beautiful. The game room also offers optimal amenities for a fun evening. Day trips to Ghent and Bruges are possible. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back 🙂

Amazing host with amazing place! The place wasn't the easiest to find based on Google Maps (Maps was misleading), but check in was easy and smooth. The apartment had basically everything that's essential, even with sufficient utensils and seasoning for cooking if need be. It is clean and very cozy, and will definitely be back if we ever visit Antwerp again!

Hilde’s place was perfect for a Ghent city break! Super easy to get to from the main train station by tram, mere meters from the tram stop and a delightful walk along the canal into the old town. The apartment is beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and fully equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend, old town was so busy with people it was so nice being able to go back to Hildes peaceful place at the end of the day after exploring!

We had a very nice stay at the home - it was just like on the pictures, easy check-in, super clean and friendly / responsive host. Location was great (close to train station) and everything was walkable (parks, old city center, restaurants, shopping etc.). The home is very cozy with a nice terrace!

It was a very pleasant experience, the location was good, very close to the station, the room was clean and hygienic, and the kitchen supplies were the most complete of this trip. It was very convenient for us to buy it by ourselves.Will stay again next time in Belgium

Lovely apartment in central Antwerp. Less than 10 minutes by foot from Antwerp Central train station and within walking distance to the city's many attractions. The apartment is well stocked with dishes, kitchen utensils, and towels. While I stayed only a weekend, a much longer stay which would have had me preparing my own food would have been quite easy. The hosts are very responsive and provide very detailed instructions regarding check-in/check-out. They also compiled a booklet (in multiple languages) with information about the apartment and things to do in the city. As someone who doesn't plan much before traveling, I found this extremely useful and planned much of my trip around their recommendations. Would definitely stay here again. The accommodation was very homely, comfortable and pristine. Siel was extremely responsive and friendly. Extras were provided, coffee, tea, spreads and a welciming beer. We were made to feel very welcome, and would highly recommend this accommodation.
