“Best one yet,” to quote my husband. We LOVED calling this adorable and private accommodation of Rose’s our home away from home for the 12 days we spent in Chimney Rock. Everything that we needed and more was provided. Rose is delightful and made us feel so welcomed. The village of Chimney Rock, nestled in the Hickory Nut Gorge, is a treasure with restaurants and plenty of little shops that are walkable from this location. And the star of the show, Chimney Rock State Park, is directly behind Rose’s house, just a 3-mile jaunt up the mountain. Rose’s garden alone is a gem to behold, located right outside your door. We loved the privacy of the location, as well as the peace and quiet that was afforded to us after busy days hiking and exploring this magnificent region. We were thrilled to see a few other residents of this area from time to time, members of the black bear population. So if you are searching for an authentic experience when coming to Chimney Rock, this is the place!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is absolutely pristine. The seating and bed were very comfortable. There was plenty of storage space foe our things. The bathroom was luxurious. The kitchen was very well appointed. We felt right at home. The apartment is above two super cute stores in a very walkable neighborhood. We had coffee three doors down and fantastic beer, Mexican, burgers and pizza just a stones throw away. The parking spot was easy to find and a quick walk. This is in our Top 3 of AirB&B ever. You won't be disappointed!!

We really enjoyed our weekend stay here. The home was clean, modern, and peaceful. We loved sitting on the back deck facing the woods. Very nice neighborhood and a great way to get a true Asheville experience. Highly recommend!

What a gorgeous location! I could have simply sat outside enjoying the views -- which I did quite a bit! But it was also convenient to some great hikes, of which I did one. I only stayed one night, and unfortunately didn't get to meet Warren, but I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place! Clean, peaceful, and comfortable. There were flowers on the table and cold waters in the fridge. The bed was super comfortable with good linens. It's a great quiet place for visiting Asheville and surroundings. We really enjoyed starting our day with a yoga class at the Community Yoga Center that is less than a mile away. Booking, checking/getting in was a breeze, and Phil always responded quickly to messages.

First I will say, we are picky and this spot was PERFECT!!! We loved everything about Jane’s place!! Jane and her sweet husband were very helpful and accommodating and so friendly! I highly recommend their little getaway and we will definitely be back!

What to write in such a small space! Kevin and Susie are precious folks. We got in late on our first night and Kevin helped carry our things upstairs. And chatted with us for a bit. Susie had made some AMAZING cookies for us. We loved the space of the apartment. It was clean, cozy and just as the pictures portrayed. The bed was so comfortable!!! We will definitely be staying here again. Roan Mountain is our me favorite place and Kevin and Susie have the best place to enjoy it! Thanks for having us ♥️

This is a great spot to stay while traveling to Asheville. Downtown is easily in walking distance, plus you have grocery stores, shops, and restaurants nearby. The hosts were very responsive. I really enjoyed my stay!

Ellie’s place was a great choice for a last minute one-night stay in Asheville! It was not far off of a main road and only a 10-15 minute drive from Downtown while still feeling secluded. It was very relaxing to sit on the porch while it rained to enjoy our homemade pizza with a glass of wine. It was quaint, clean, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We will be back next time we’re in Asheville!

Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing We’ve stayed in Airbnbs from Florida to Alaska and everywhere in between but this is one of, if not the cleanest place I’ve stayed in. The hosts are great and easy to communicate with and you are 10mins away from anything you might need. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at! This room is very spacious, clean, and in a quiet safe neighborhood. Perfect location for visiting the blue ridge parkway, Pisgah NF, Asheville and Black Mountain! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the area!

We really enjoyed Tennessee Treetops. We chose it for its proximity to charming downtown Jonesborough and Johnson City. It is a peaceful location, furnished in contemporary, cozy decor with all the necessary amenities. Micah is a wonderful host who is responsive and friendly. We would happily stay here again!

We loved our quiet nights on the river with Kerry. She is a safe warm and super friendly host with the most picaresque mountain homestead. The space is cozy, comfy and clean.

Eliber’s place was as described & matched the photos. It was comfortable, chic, and had all of the basics needed for my stay! It’s walking distance from downtown Burnsville, and also from a shopping center with a grocery store. The location of the home is peaceful and quiet. I did run into a couple of issues (trouble finding the switch for upstairs heat, dryer didn’t work, poor internet connection (smartphone couldn’t connect / issue connecting TV to smart apps), but Eliber was responsive and helped find solutions. He even partially refunded my stay because of the various issues I experienced.

This was the perfect place to stay for my pup and me. It was exactly as Laura described; very clean, comfortable, charming, and even more spacious than pictures made it appear. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The park being right out the front door was extremely convenient. Laura was very friendly, responsive, and an excellent host. I would happily stay here again!

Very cozy and comfortable. Getting to the place has a few bumps but it's not hard to get to. Once inside, everything was prepared for us, clean and nicely set. The host was super nice and we had a great time

Annual trip with my brother. This was our second stay, and it was as great as it was last year. It’s just a super lovely space on a surprisingly secluded property. Sitting porch is gorgeous. The backyard is gorgeous. Hot tub is clean and inviting. Location is good (walking distance for lots of West Asheville stuff). Mike was very engaged helping us coordinate dates and attentive to every bit of communication. We’re grateful for the lovely base camp.

Peaceful, private, and close to downtown! I was pleasantly surprised with how peaceful the backyard was. Hot tub room was a huge plus. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

We had an excellent last minute stay. Apartment was clean and Arayna even set up the air mattress for us before our arrival. We visited some of the restaurant recommendations and found a new favorite spot. The hot tub was clean and we had a nice view of the fireflies in the field from the hot tub. We could not get the outdoor fire ring to work, but could have been user error, either way we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying here!! It was beautiful! Our favorite things were the waterfall, the big deck and the yard!

Denise's place is very nice. It's located in a peaceful, wooded setting that is 4 minutes from downtown Black Mountain. The bed is comfortable and everything in the space is in great shape. The hot tub is very nice and has a view of the back yard and an adjacent wooded area. Denise and Jimmy are helpful and quick to respond to messages. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to rent again in the future.

We were so lucky to find this place about 2 miles from my Son’s house. After a short ride on some windy, hilly roads (not bad at all) we arrived in a lovely neighborhood. As hosts they were friendly and helpful and more than generous. They supplied breakfast foods, water bottles, and other food stuffs that were more than welcome after a long drive. The Airbnb was spotless and welcoming, bed (master, we didn’t use the other bedroom) was extremely comfortable. Of course the hot tub was a huge bonus that was also a welcomed perk. Barbara and Steve were there when we arrived and were More than gracious. From start to finish our visit was perfect. We felt right at home and access to downtown Weaverville and Asheville was a breeze. We will definitely return.

Frank and Peter are simply the best hosts we've encountered in our years of Airbnb. This is not hyperbole - their apartment is spotless, has everything you need, their communication is as prompt and clear as it gets and when they see you, you are treated as an old friend. The amenity description does not exaggerate and the photos are not staged. This apartment is not to be missed if available.
