Fox Den - Lovely location in the heart of Yakutat

This was our second stay at the Fox den, and I'll stay there again next time I go to Yakutat. The Fox Den is located in a quiet neighborhood, it's clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable extended stay. It's beginning to feel like a home away from home. Mark is an excellent host. Stunning stay in this fairytale cabin in the forest! It’s the best of both worlds: the warmth, dryness and ease of the indoors coupled with all the sunlight, rain sounds and beauty of the outdoors. Basically our dream home (: We already can’t wait to come back next year!

Was a perfect place to grab some quiet. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. I particularly appreciated the grill on the porch and a comfortable. The place appeared to be newer construction and had a “cabin in the woods” vibe. I’ll be back again this summer.

Lodging in Yakutat is tough in the summer, and I needed 3 weeks. Was looking at another one of his rentals but it wasn't available. He was proactive and let me know he had another property that would work (this one). Mark went above and beyond in communication and answered all my questions. We had a surprise bonus. The rental is actually NICER than the pictures you see on Airbnb! Mark was incredibly accommodating to our needs, and we will 100% rent again if he'll have us back.

A simple map is provided, illustrating the layout of the neighborhood. Key locations such as the post office, grocery store, hardware store, and AC store are marked, with clear directions to the boat harbor and the airport. The northern escape unit is indicated with its proximity to these landmarks.

couldn’t recommend this space more. It’s a few minutes from everything in town so very convenient and they are always friendly and kind! After long days in the cold rain, it was nice to come back to a cozy space where the hot water always worked, and the kitchen space was great! Super comfy and great!

Chris's place is less than a 5-minute drive to the Yakutat marina. This Airbnb is exactly what you need to come home to after a day full of adventure. The space is comfortable, peaceful and private, the perfect recipe for a good night's rest. If one wants to connect back with the world they vacationed away from, all the connectivity is at your fingertips while there. Great place to stay in Yakutat. Mark is easy to get a hold of. Great place for larger groups lots of space!

The kitchen features modern appliances, including a stainless steel refrigerator and microwave. Light streams through two windows, illuminating the wooden cabinetry.
