Our space comes with amenities ranging from free parking, WiFi and streaming services to a full kitchen, soaker tub and outdoor patio w/fire pit! This space is behind a main home on site. We love our place on the Mendenhall River! Eagles, bears, deer, porcupine, and otters are common sights in the backyard while the soft rush of the glacier-fed stream provides a soothing background. We are located in the upper Mendenhall Valley, just a 5 minute drive from the Mendenhall Glacier & 3 minute walk to the Brotherhood Bridge trail which takes you into deep old forest almost immediately. The river is ever changing and always beautiful & peaceful. We are available, but don’t intrude.

Located on Douglas Island just across the Juneau-Douglas Bridge, you will get to enjoy watching the sun rise up behind Gastineau ridge, and fall asleep to the cruise ships lighting up the channel. Douglas Island offers an amazing Sandy Beach, hiking trails, and beautiful Alaskan views from every angle.
